Title of this question pretty much says it all. I normally use Weibull curves, as this often has the lowest AIC, however for a project I am working on I am not being given the Weibull curve option, only TH Weibull. Can anyone fill me in on the difference & when it is appropriate to use each version? Thank you in advance for your help!
Hello everybody, I have a JMP file with a formula of two random variables: "Voltage" and "thickness".To visualize the statistical distribution of the formula, I am using the JMP Prediction profiler.I managed to create a table with all the Monte Carlo outcomes run by the profiler using the JSL command:Simulate to TableHere is what my screen looks like: As a next step I would like to use the columns...
Hi, I have a question about using process screening. I am trying to look for CPK analysis of a data sheet. When I try to use "Process screening" the rows were shuffled. Shown below is an example:We can see the order of Kelvin followed by Continuity But once the table is generated the test data sequence were shuffled. Need the community help to keep the test sequence as is compared to the rod...
I have 700 test data for 1k units in ATE (Semiconductor). It is not comfortable to use the default col properties as some units might be in nA and some might be in uA. I would like to have "Engineering SI" selected as default for all the 700 tests. Kindly help!

I am looking at a component within our product that is on 10000+ products in the field. Should I only be looking at failures? I have the ability to include all the products that have never had this component fail. Is it best to include those in the dataset, or should I only be looking at failures?
The Destructive Degradation (DD) platform provides a list of built-in path definition models. I'm interested in fitting a first-order nonlinear kinetics model to experimental data collected at various temperatures using an Arrhenius transformation of temperature. All the Arrhenius-based kinetics models that are built-in in JMP 17.0 represent the path definitions having common intercepts and asympt...
Hi,I am attempting to run a Reliability Forecast analysis, Analysis>Reliability and Survival>Reliability Forecast>Data Format Tab. Attached is my project file. When I run the above analysis using my two data tabs (Rel Production Data and Rel Failure Data) it comes back with the error, “Total failure count is larger than production volume“. In the Analysis>Reliability and Survival>Reliability Forec...
Referring to Rules: Stepwise Regression Control Panel (jmp.com) and Example of the Combine Rule : JMP Help Could somebody please further elaborate on the 2 tests when considering the entry for a term. It would also be immensely helpful if the explanation was based on stepwise backward selection. "Calculates p-values for two separate tests when considering entry for a term that has precedents. The ...

Hello, I am trying to do a matched sample analysis across three different factors. I wanted to:1. Confirm that my sample would be what I pick for 'Block" when I do Fit Y by X when running Friedman's test2. Is there a post hoc analysis in JMP that I can use? I dont see Nemenyi or Conover as an optionThanks for your time.
this isn't a JMP question per se, but a reliability/survival statistics question ... see my post on Cross Validatedthanks in advance! :)https://stats.stackexchange.com/questions/483556/order-statistic-maximum-for-subpopulation-weibull-distribution
