    hello,I'm working on a large breeding experiment testing the effect of drought on different genotypes. We set the main plot to irrigation level ( 2 levels), and the sub plot is the genotype ( 300 genotypes), 280 of them replicate in all three blocks and 20 are only found in two of the block. is there a way to estimate main effect of this kind of experimental design on JMP? thanks, Roy

  • JMP 16.2 Life Distribution Weibull Distribution Alpha/Beta Generation

    I am trying to generate the Weibull Distribution alpha and beta (shape & scale) values of a large data set containing tens of thousands of rows and have those values in a data table. Other than the Analyze > Reliability and Survival > Life Distribution portal is there another way to generate those values?

  • Predicting Attribute Rejects at end Customers

    We are performing manual inspection and removing rejects found (e.g. damaged wire) at each manufacturing process steps. Since manual inspection is not 100% effective, what statistical methods that can be used for ATTRIBUTE data to predict the number of rejects that a customer could get?

Confirm that my sample would be what I pick for 'Block" when I do Fit Y by X when running Friedman's test2. Is there a post hoc analysis in JMP that I can use?     What is the issue with this data? I can't get any output for the fixed effects tests.I am performing a mixed model of a randomized complete block design.
