  • Pressure Test Method Results have a significant effect on my sample size and capability, how to avoid?

Hello dear JMP community I will first explain the test method (no need to comment on whether it is right or wrong because this is what I got). The purpose is to detect a leakage.

Measurement processPart is mounted to a pressure stationPressure station rotate a vacuum pump x times to create a vacuum (atmospheric pressure is approx. 1000mbar)Pressure p1 is sampled at time t1After 15 seconds p2 is sam...

  • Creating a Display Table from Scratch

    Hello All,

I am interested in making a process screening output table such as the one pasted down below. This is taken directly from the process screening platform. However, I would like to add more column or remove some, especially columns from another datatable or ones that are not in the process screening module.

I guess one could use the display functions but since I do not have a ton of experie...

  • Lin's Concordance Correlation Coefficient

Hi All Is there a procedure in JMP that computes  Lin's Concordance Correlation Coefficient?  The concordance correlation coefficient (Lin, 1989) evaluates the degree to which pairs of observations fall on the 45° line through the origin. Lin L.I-K (1989) A concordance correlation coefficient to evaluate reproducibility. • Change Line Color and Line Style in all platforms

I am looking for a method to automatically change line color and style on all platforms (Distribution, variability, bivariate, oneway) for all columns with spec limits. I loaded spec limits from "Limits Table" at "Analyze-Quality and Process-Manage Spec limits" and saved to column properties. These spec limits are shown as reference lines in all platforms ((Distribution, variability, bivariate, one...

  • Spec limits for process screening platform

    Hello All,

I have a question regarding spec limits in process screening applications. For example, I have a metric for thickness of a part. The target is 0.7 with lower limit of 0.6 and upper limit of 0.8. Anything within these limits inclusively will pass. However, as shown from the plot below values of 0.8 are counted as fails. At the same time 0.6 are included as passes.

Is there a way to contro...
