  • How to group/seperate a correlation plot by a variable?

Following is an example similar to my actual data case. I am interested in looking at the correlation between two process variables known to be dependent on each other. Especially, I would like to understand the wafer number dependence of the correlation. For my actual data case, unlike the example case here,  the x-axis variable is bi-modal on the wafer number (first say n wafers sit on one mode, ...

  • How to automate managing limits feature through JSL

Hi, I'm trying to use JSL to perform manage limits. I'm trying to open a limit table, implement it on the current data table and then save it. The only function I found in the fourm or in the scripting index is to open the manage limits and then manually implement the limit or manually open a data table.  The other methods I found was hard-coding the spec limit using JSL.  Is there are a way I can...

  • Is there a way to get Westgard rules to apply to user defined control in Levey Jennings?

I have a script that runs two variations of a Levey Jennings, one using data set determined 2 sigma control limits which then correctly applies Westgard rules and the other with user defined defined limits that does not apply Westgard rules based on these inputs. Is there a setting to get Westgard rules to identify user defined limits as the 2 standard deviation calculation?

  • Search functionality for substructures of SMILES

For Spotfire exists an Addin (Signals Inventa, former signal leads discovery) in which you can select a substructure of a SMILES graph and then search a database for all SMILES graphs that contain this substructure (isomorphic search). Does anyone know if there is software available with this functionality that could (easily) be connected to JMP?

  • How to determine if it obeys a chi-square distribution?

I want to determine whether a set of data obeys a chi-square distribution, how do I do this with JMP? Thanks!
I looked at the distribution-continuous fit and didn't find this distribution.

  • Multiple Spec Limits Based on Row Values

We often structure our inspection sheets based on column identifiers-- see the attached csv. I was wondering if there was a way to run simultaneous analyses based on feature ID and pulling the spec limits so that for each graph, it uses the spec limits in the subsequent columns. Is this possible? Thanks!

  • Use Limits Table In Distributions Platform

Hi, is it possible to use a limits table to load specifications grouped by some factor in platforms other than Process Screening? Ideally I'd like to use the limits table in the distributions platform. Thanks in advance, Alicia

  • Caution: Places where Jmp does something unexpected

Definitely, JMP is Not a Spreadsheet . And that's great!! Besides this difference, there are other places where Jmp doesn't do/behave/produce what a newbie / innocent Jmp user expects.
If a user knows these issues and the remedies and workarounds -  he/she can
    a) save a lot of time b) be safe from data loss c) be sure that the results are as expected.

Hello Everyone,I was looking for someone who could help me with a dilemma I'm facing with respect to an MSA for a microscope. The specific problem is that i do not have tolerance I can input for my type 1 analysis. Resolution used is 5 microns per pixel, the accuracy cannot be below 5 microns. This is the standard resolution for particles starting from 50 microns. I have attached the Linearity stu...
