  • Confidence intervals on profiler using expanded formula

I used the Fit Curve platform to fit Gaussian curves to some viscosity vs salt% data obtained for a range of different formulations. I saved the parameter estimates for Peak Value, Critical Point and Growth Rate to my data table. Following this, I used linear regression to predict the three Gaussian peak parameters using formulation composition as predictors. I saved the prediction formulae and SE...

  • How does JMP do BoxCox transformations?

I have recently been converting JMP formulas into Excel using the python code option. I have been unable to actually transfer any formula (MLR) involving a BoxCox transformation. It have manually done the calculations following the formula and have gone numbers in the multimillions instead of 100 thousands where it should be. If someone knows if the formula is already converted back or If I need t...

  • Predictor screening always showing up as 0 contribution?

All variables all showing up as 0 contribution. Whether in put 6 or 20 columns into the X variable selection, it always comes out as 0. I’m using a data point for everyday for the past ~5 years. Is there a specific reason why this is happening?

  • How to deal with data prediction with non-linear model?

    Hi team,
Currently, I would like to perform prediction from X to Y where X and Y are non linear to each other
From image below,  value in Y > 100 or X >550 consider as bad in reality. However, I do not know whether data outside the contour or lay on areas with question marks are consider as bad or good. I would like to ask some question:
    1. Is there anyway to make prediction with data points laid on ...

  • Advice on Boosted Tree Model and How to Export to Excel

Hello,   I am working on a model for my work where the goal is they would be able to input parameters and then have a predicted final moisture at the end. I have a large amount of data to work with (about 4000 data points) so I was looking at using the boosted tree model. I have never used this function before and it auto filled to have 200 layers, 12 splits per tree, and learning rate of 0.121. I...

  • Sample size for Reliability Life Test

I have used the interval explorer for parametric reliability life test planning for sample size calculation of accelerated life test. Please can someone confirm if the sample size returned is the total sample size or sample size per stress levels? Assuming I have 3 temperature levels, do I use 75 samples per temperature level or 25?

  • Could JMP show in a single graph a sensitivity analysis and the probability of occurrence of a result?

Hello Community!Attached is the script "Hogi chart calculates risk and probability", an excellent work by HOGI ... which calculates the risks and probabilities of occurrence of an input or multiple inputs (x), of an output or multiple outputs (Y) or their combination in a table. For example:Would it be possible to expand the capacity of the script to make a sensitivity analysis of the inputs (x) o...

  • Multinomial Logistic Regression Confidence for Specific Parameter Changes

Hi,  I have a multinomial logistic regression of 3 classes: 0, 1, and 2 and have associated individual models (via Fit Y by X) for N parameters. I am now looking into a sensitivity like study in which each parameter is assumed at certain levels (e.g. at min, max etc..). I have probabilities computed at each such parameter level. I like to rank order probability change in each class (0, 1 and 2) du...

  • Building and validating zero-inflated negative binomial regression models

Dear JMP community,I am presented with a problem of building a model using over-dispersed zero-inflated count data. I hope you can help me with this.I have attached both training and validation datasets to this post. My objective is to build my model on the training dataset and validate it using the validation dataset. I have not worked with such count data before and therefore do not know validat...

  • Hyperparameters and neural network architecture

Hello,I'm trying to reproduce the results obtained on JMP with the "Neural" model by adding nested cross-validation, which is not possible on the software. However, the architecture is very unclear and I can't understand the calculations performed by the model. I don't have access to certain information such as batch size, optimizer used, loss, learning rate (except the one for the boosting), and ...
