  • Target Index/alternatives for Process Screening

For some dumb reason I was thinking that Target Index normalized on the Spec window, and I'm realizing now that it normalizes on the within sigma, which is a problem as I have a lot of mathematically significant signals that aren't practically significant.  So, couple quick questions.    If you provide a specified sigma will the Target Index use that instead of within?  That will at least standard...

  • Parameter Estimates for Standard Least Squares

In standard least squares regression how do I ask for the expanded parameter estimates to include the last level? I know there is a way to do it but can't figure out how.

  • Factor not statistical significant in Effect Tests although there is statistical significance difference among factor levels from Tukey Multiple Comparison

Hi, I am using Generalized Regression model to perform analysis in my data, with Binomial as response distribution (because my response values - ErrorAT - are either 0 or 1). I am using Lasso as the estimation method. I opted to used generalized regression due to the large correlation among some factors.  I have a quick question related to this model: one of the main factors (seedAT) was removed f...

hi, does anyone know how to compare two multiple regression?i have two years data, so each year I will make a multiple regression using the same independent and dependent variable just different 2 years. how I can compare these two

  • Significant Lack of Fit

Hi All, I appreciate your time and response. I have built a model using main effects, interactions, and sometimes 2nd orders. I have used Standard Least Squares and 60% of the data. About 20% is used for validation and 20% for test sets.R2, adj R2, and those for validation and test sets are all about 98-99%. VIFs are all between 1 to 2.The only issue is I have a significant lack of fit. What can I ...

  • deployment model

Hito everybody. In attached 2 jmp files. The one named Training-validation-test was used to build a RF model with the following results. The file contains one numeric response and 20 different predictors with one of them categorical, The predictors are sensors values.     As you can see the Bias is very good while the variance is slightly high (92-69=23%).Then a new database with examples never seen...

  • What does it mean when the solution path for Elastic Net is not single-valued?

Dear JMP Community,   (W10, 64-bit, JMP Pro 15.2.1)   I am running a model to assess the active predictors. I am doing this by using the Autovalidation add-in to generate a Null Factor for my data. I then use the GenReg platform to find estimates for each possible X-factor and then Bootstrap those estimates to get a better assessment of the contributions to the response. I came across a very stran...
