  • Help with DOE analysis - Mixing Study

Hello all, I am fairly new to DOE and would appreciate some assistance with the analysis of my data, especially with the correct approach and order to the analysis. I have created a simple mixing design. On the face of it, this is a very simple experiment, which involves mixing three different components to create a composite, conducting some experiments and measuring several outputs. The design i...

  • Preselected Roles in Graph Builder?

It appears that if you preselect a role (e.g. weight or frequency) for a column that Tabulate or Table Summary use that role in the analysis, but Graph Builder does not.  Can someone confirm that Graph Builder does not recognize pre-selected roles?  And, if that is correct, should we consider that a glitch or is there a good reason for that?  On a somewhat separate issue, I still find the choice o...

  • How to compare 4 treatments with unequal number of samples

Hi,I have 4 treatment groups, each with different n (sample number). The experimental design is completely randomized design. What is the best way to analyze the data to make sure unequal variances are taken into consideration.

  • Analysis of CCD results

Hi everyone,I did screening desing and steepest ascent which showed me a saddle point. Then, I conducted experiment (ordinary central composite design) on this area to capture the curvature. But I don't know how to analyse the results, my model isn't significant with quadratic terms and the lack of fit is significant (the model only become significant when I raise my model to the power of 4).Could...

  • What is the correct k-fold operation in a decision tree module?

If the k-fold operation of decision tree module is carried out manually,
Is k-fold selected after segmentation?Or is k-fold selected and then segmented?
What exactly does k-fold mean? Thanks !

When I scroll in the data table using the slide bar on the right hand side, the data table does not move at the same time. When I try to highlight cells in the data table with my mouse the cells do not highlight.I recently received a new laptop and installed the JMP on it this week.  I did not have this problem with my old laptopPlease advise.  Thank you

  • Split DoE

    Hi,
I designed DoE by RSM. I wonder if I can split the design and first step to try the main effects and then 2nd step to try the rest experiments for the 2nd order effects.
    Please advice

  • User Input List for Regression Analysis

I have an input box where users can select columns to be run in a regression report. (Long story on why I want to do this.) This part works great. I then insert the list of columns into a list. When I try to put the list or even just a few of the column names into the regression report. It doesn’t work. What should I do to make this work?   The user input list readout looks like this: {"Column 1",...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
