With profiler it is not possible to use a categorical noise effect? Is there another way to specify robust process settings?

Hi all!I have 6 continuous variables (N0 to N5) and one nominal variable (named "recode") that I would like to analyze with the prediction profiler. The nominal variable "recode" has 4 values (1,2,3,4).When I initiate the prediction profiler, the nominal variable is "broken" into three sections (see image below). How do I interpret it? for example, how to I set the profiler to show the predicted va...
Hello, I'm working with a dataset produced from a 5-variable full factorial screening with 3 center points. The raw data is heavily skewed with an exponential distribution. I've tried log, log10, square root and various box-cox transformations and can't seem to get anything even nearly approaching a normal distribution. ConditionPatterndata11+−−+−0.592−+−−−1.63−−−+−1.784+−++−0.455+−−−−1.376−++−−0...
Hi, I've performed an 18 run 4 continuous factor definitive screening design experiment with center points. I expected to be able to include the estimation of quadratic effects in my analysis, however, I'm only able to estimate them up to two way main effects and not quadratic which is supposed to be a capability of definitive screen designs. I followed the "fit screening design" option, I've inc...
It is possible to use covariate factors with custom design, but not with space filling design.
In some case, it is preferable to screen homogeneously the design space.I tried to make a model with cubic, quartic terms to force the optimization to spread selected rows over the whole design space but the result could be better.
I also tried to use hierachical clustering using centroid criterion, then ...

Dear all, I want to perform a regression for method comparison in laboratory using two types of data :- Data from a first analyzer in X axis which were performed in 1 run in duplicate (2 values)- Data from a new analyzer in Y axis which were performed in 2 run in duplicate (4 values) With regression data, I want then to perform least squares regression, lack of fit test and outlier test. Can anybo...
Hello, I am using JMP Pro 15 and have a DoE with 3 responses (2 continuous and 1 binary).I fitted two linear mixed models for my continuous responses and a GLM (binomial distribution, logit link and firth correction because of separation issues). I wanted to plot the results of my different models in a common profiler. I was able to save the prediction formula for each of the 3 models and the stan...
In many examples of nested DOE categorical effects are used. Is nesting also possible with a continuous effect that is scaled? Example: suppose one has five emulgators and also the emulgator concentration is a factor; however the concentration range is different for each emulgator. Is it possible to design the experiment with a scaled continuous concentration at three levels -1 0 +1?
Hi everyone,I would like to design my first DCE. I am going to use 6 attributes that differ in the levels from 2 to 4 levels. However, I have a limitation where there is an impossible combination that may appear; for example, the cheapest product would not be possible to have the best feature. Is there any way for me to select the prohibited combination? Or, is the D-optimal design will always cal...
When designing dsd with 49 factors and 4 additional runs. Why do I get 109 runs and not 105 runs?
If I open a file via open("filename"), the command returns a reference to the data table which can be used as dt = open("filename");If I trigger open viadt = Main Menu("open")it doesn't return a reference to the data table. In general, is there a way, when triggering a command from the Main Menu, to get the return value?e.g. a reference to a data table for a user defined file loader - or an error ...
hi,I have got an add-in from https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMPer-Cable/Who-what-why-and-how-Tools-for-modeling-and-visualizing/bc-p/624293#M842 to implement floodlight analysis through Johnson-Neyman Plot. according to the table of the example from the linkage above; what does "_c" mean? such as "meaning_c" and overwhelming_c"? focus on my own study, I got a moderator called "SE" which is a contin...
Related to the previous post How to get "Effect size" column with Response Screening functionality , I am also wondering how effect size in the response screening platform is calculated, specifically for categorical Y vs continuous X. JMP help shows: "When Y is categorical and X is continuous, the effect size is the square root of the average ChiSquare value for the whole model test." Running b...
