  • JMP 16 Action Recorder questions

    We have number of scripts that are running scheduled nightly. One of the scripts is processing high number of files. Previously, it was processing around 6 files per minute on JMP 15. When we switched to JMP16, it started processing only ~3 files per minute. So overall run time increased from 6 hours to 12 hours. which in our case is unacceptable.     Hi,How can I re-create the "Find & replace" operation on a specific column by JSL script? For example - I want to replace "K" with "1e3" & "M" with "1e6" in "Count" column(to convert it to numeric type later).I didn't find a simple way to do it without using a loop (there so it would be fast when many rows needs to be checked)Thanks :)

  • Problems with JMP installation self-extracting

    Downloaded the latest JMP16 subscription and when I try to run the exe as an admin, the file seems to unzip but the installation does not continue. Checked the installation of my previous JMP and the only warning I see is  under "OLE Automation" Type library not installed.   • How Can I Close an Automated JMP Script While it is Running Using Another JMP Script

    I use the windows scheduler to launch JMP scripts on regular intervals. If a script takes a long time, is there a way to stop it using another script?For example, if a script takes too long to run can I run another script to stop the prior script? I don't want to rely on keyboard shortcuts (like the Esc key) as mentioned in prior posts.Thanks,Jens
