  • How to restore JMP 18's "single-click to rename" column behavior in JMP 19?

    Hi everyone,
    I recently upgraded from JMP 18 to JMP 19 and noticed a change in the left Columns Panel that significantly slows down my workflow.
    In JMP 18, if a column was already selected, a simple single-click on the column name would easily put it into edit/rename mode. It was very convenient. However, in JMP 19, a single click only selects the column (and auto-scrolls the data grid to view it). ...

  • How to Schedule JSL and Python Scripts Sequentially in JMP 19

    "I am a JMP 19 user. I would like to automate a JSL script to run every morning at 7:00 AM, which fetches data from Oracle via ODBC, updates the data table, and saves it as an .xlsx file. Subsequently, I want to execute a Python script at 8:00 AM that imports that .xlsx file, performs various operations, and sends the results via email. I already have both the JSL and .py files—how can I automate ...

  • JMP 19: Can't copy/paste image into Microsoft Teams anymore

    Apparently JMP 19 removed the "Copy as Graphic" and "Copy Special" options from the Edit menu (that's what AI tells me).  So now, we can't paste a graph as image into Teams without saving as an image first, which is extremely annoying. Thanks a lot, SAS.  I know this is likely M$'s fault, but why remove those options? How about      JMP 19.0.3.

  • Why is my lack of fit p-value very small?

    Hello, JMP community. I have recently finished my experiments following an RSM design. I have inputted the data in the software and ran the model (accounting for interactions and RS). I have excluded the factors and interactions that were irrelevant based on the Effect Summary table. However, the lack of fit p-value remains very small (see screenshot below). I'm afraid the model is overfitting bec...

  • Minitab => jmp

    Bonjour, nous sommes en train de revoir nos validations de procédés pour lesquelles nous avions beaucoup de tests statistiques MINITAB. A ce jour nous devons reprendre tout à zéro a partir des feuilles de travail que nous importons afin de les intégrer à JMP. Cela est problématique si nous devons systématiquement tout refaire à partir des feuilles de travail (données brutes). Auriez vous une solut...

  • Matching 2 tables using Table\Join and Table\Update without success

    Attached are Tables A, B and C. Table A has 30 entries by Peter. Table B has 8,790 entries by Jane. Table C is the correct joined table done manually. I want to match the entries by Peter and Jane and create a subset only with "Locations" in Table A, thus Table C. I had used Table\Join and Table\Update but the results were not accurate. For example, if you use the Location=-216,161, below should b...

  • Question About Accessing Underlying Data from Analysis Plots

    I have a question regarding JMP’s analysis outputs. When creating models (e.g., using “Fit Model”), JMP 18.2.1 provides several plots such as Actual by Predicted, Leverage Plots etc. These visualizations are very useful, but I am wondering if there is a way to access or extract the underlying data used to generate these graphs. I am aware of the “Copy Graph” option, which allows exporting the plot...

  • Data Filter structure and orientation in JMP19

    Hello everyone, I am currently working on a data extraction interface using a Data Filter. I can build it, the problem is with the layout of the columns in my filter in JMP19.   In JMP17, the columns of the filters are inside a LineUpBox(). The LineUpBox have two useful functions, N Col and Spacing, that allow me to arrange my columns across multiple lines, with a space between the columns. Tree S...
