  • JMP Python Script Interface to point to Python installation different than JMP native folders

Hello I am looking to writing a script that sends data from a JMP table,  executes a python library, returns outputs back to JMP.  Some of these libraries can be very strictly requiring a specific Python installation. Additionally, we certainly have an independent Python  installation (ie. local, and this is what I refer to as non-jmp python) .  I am new to JMP python scripting and going through h...

  • General Statistics Question on Response Dependence

What type of modeling, analysis, and methodology would you use for the following example: Let's say you have factors A, B, and C in a DOE. You capture responses Y and Z. A combination of B+C increases both Y and Z using a specific regression model, and theoretically (from your discipline and experience), you know that response Y is dependent on Z. How would I best represent the relationship betwee...

  • slow JMP

Why does JMP get slow when a large data table is open?
e.g. a data table with many images.

Why is there such a huge lag when I open the Column Info menu or do some other editing of "meta" data?
Is there some constant "analysis" of the data table in the background?
