Select Rows Using Histograms

Use the histogram (select Analyze > Distribution) to select rows based on the levels of a variable. The histogram bars are linked to the data table, so clicking on a histogram bar selects every row represented by that bar. Histogram Selection

Automatic Subsetting

Double-click on any bar in a histogram (select Analyze > Distribution) to create a new data table with the data represented by that bar. Note: You can also right-click and select Subset. Subsetting Data

Exclude Points

If you suspect that a point is exerting undue influence on your fit, you can exclude it. Right-click the point.Select Row Exclude. When you add a new fit, it does not include the excluded point. Row Exclude Option

JMP has a built-in laser pointer that enables you to visually emphasize parts of a report. It is off by default. Reorder Histograms

In the Distribution platform, you can change the order of a histogram for a categorical variable. From the red triangle menu for the categorical variable, select Order By and choose Count Descending or Count Ascending.(Optional) To save the new order to the data table (as a value ordering property), select Save > Value Ordering.
