Welcome to the JMP Community! This is a space for JMP users of any level – from those exploring the software for the first time to JMP veterans looking to share their knowledge. The Community has content ranging from discussion threads for answering JMP questions to articles on advanced JMP techniques, educational content, and much more. If you are not already signed in, click Sign In on the top-right corner of your screen and follow the procedures on the login page. After you have signed in, explore and complete your profile: under the profile icon on the top-right corner, click My settings to change your personal information and include additional information that reflects who you are. As you continue to engage and interact with the Community, we recognize your contributions. The JMP User Community has a ranking system that rewards members who positively contribute to the Community. Your Community rank can be found under your username in the profile tab. Creating a Post & Finding Answers
The JMP User Community is a service hosted by the JMP Division of SAS Institute Inc to facilitate and encourage the exchange of ideas and information pertaining to JMP products and services. We welcome all JMP users in the Community – beginners, experts, and anyone in between. The Discussions forum is the space to ask and answer questions. It is also where most of the activity takes place in the Community. When accessing Discussions, be mindful of all the users. Before submitting a question using the Ask A Question button, check if the question has already been answered by using the search bar. When writing a question, use simple, descriptive language, and include pictures if possible. When another user comments or answers your question, be sure to reply. This helps out other users who have similar questions. For additional information regarding the Discussions forum, check the links below.

Navigating the Community
The Community has four major sections, titled Discussions, File Exchange, Blogs, and JMP Wish List. Use the search bar in any part of the Community if you’re looking for specific information about a JMP feature or a particular topic.
- Discussions: Any JMP-related questions can be asked or answered in the Discussions forum. Browse existing threads using the search bar or hit Start a Discussion to create your own!
- File Exchange: The File Exchange has add-ins, scripts, and sample data sets to explore in order to extend the abilities of JMP. These have been created by JMP users, and you can also add your own to share with other members of the Community!
- JMP Blogs: The Blogs feature articles about various topics including JMP functionality, data visualization, and scripting, as well as individual blogs by expert JMP staff in the fields of statistics, data analytics, and more.
- JMP Wish List: The Wish List is a place to submit any ideas or requests for how to improve JMP, upvote existing requests, or see what user ideas are being developed. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
