Is there a way we can run algorithms available in JMP from within SAS using JSL scripts or any other method?

I want to run the Normal Mixtures clustering method which is available in JMP from SAS? Is it possible to do this?

Thanks,

Satish

HI Satish:

with PC SAS & JMP on desktop, here is one simple way to fire a new JMP session and execute a script.

data _null_;

file "C:/temp/test.jsl";

put '

dt = Open($SAMPLE_DATA/Cytrometry.jmp");

dt << K Means Clustger( Y( :CD3, :CD8 ),

{Number of CLusters( 4 ), Name( "K-Means Clustering"),

Go( Show Biplot Rays( [0,0,1] ), Biplot( 1 ),

SendToReport(Dispatch{ {}, "Control Panel", OutlineBox, {Close( 1 )} ) )

);

';

run;

x 'C:\Progra~1\SAS\JMP\9\jmp.exe C:/temp/test.jsl';

Best regars,

-Matt
