How do I stack text files into a single Data Table, using MFI

Hi,

I'm currently trying to stack a range of individual .txt files into a single JMP data table, but I'm having issues with the final import structure. Maybe someone can poiint me in the right direction, p[lease?

Let me describe the steps I took:

1. All individual .txt files are in the same directory

2. All individual .txt files have the same size and layout (2 lines, Line1 - headers; Line2 - data) and delimited by spaces

3. File -> Multiple File Import

4. Keep  'Data, Using CSV settings' and 'Stack Similar Files' options selected

5. Under the 'CSV Settings' options, have the following options selected:

6. When I then Import the files into one data table, the ouput in terms of staking the 45 files in individual rows is correct, but it doesn't split the data/headers in to different columns (see below). Any clues? Thanks, Vasco

Check your preferences?

I had a similar problem, and the  "CSV Standard" button wasn't checked by default, and sometimes would uncheck automatically.
