Creating a column that automatically fills its cells based on input from other columns

Hi, I use JMP Pro 15 but I am still a novice. I wanted to ask how can I create a column that automatically print certain words based on input from other columns. Specifically, I have a column that has the side of the tumor (Right/Left) and another column that has the side of another disease (Right/Left) in each row for a long list of patients. So, I want to create a column that prints ("Ipsilateral") when both the tumor & the disease the same side for a given patient, and prints ("Contralateral") otherwise.

Re: Creating a column that automatically fills its cells based on input from other columns

The formula for the new column would be something like:

If( :tumor == :otherdesease , "Ipsilateral", "Contralateral")
