Under Analyze>Quality and Process>Control Charts>Run Chart, if you make run chart plots of multiple Y variables, it does not appear that you can broadcast x-axis settings for all the charts. Rather frustrating. Any workarounds for this?
In a Variability Gauge report there are two different %Gauge R&R results cfr. below Why is result 41,1% in Summary Gauge R&R statistics different from Variance Components result = 16,89% ? Which result must be used to report %Gauge R&R?
Hey, so by copy pasting some cells from excel into a JMP data table column, the cells are perfectly split into separate rows. But if I paste the same cells into a text edit box or just in a JSL script, the cells are only separated by a "pseudo" line break. They all are in different rows but don't have a whitespace or line break or other delimiter in between. How can I separate them like JMP does i...

I have data with very clear peaks as in the image below. However, if I try and use the 'automatic peak finding' It identifies the right number of peaks, but they're all the same with start / stop as the beginning and end of the data for every peak. (second picture) What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help. I have an event history for Product1 (worth a few years). I have another product history (Product2) of just one year. Question: How do we estimate the probability Product2 resembles Product1 as time goes by? Is there a method/theory that can be used for such an analysis? If so, can we do the analysis in JMP?
Hi all! I've run a PLS-DA test for a data set that consists of FTIR spectral data of 5 different systems under 5 different treatments. I've used the fit model platform so that I could handle categorical variables in my Y variables. According to PRESS statistics, this model has an optimum number of factors of 7 and possesses good discriminating power between my samples. Then, I noticed that the st...
Hi, all
I am a new member to the community. I am assigned a task to perform recurrence analysis on our data. I never used JMP or did any recurrence analysis. So I will bring some stupid questions for sure.
The data we have are robots repair. We want to see repairs event pattern for the bots and I was told to use recurrence analysis (don't know why).
So we have around 15000 robots, I used the 'bot_id...
Hello, looking for the upper and lower cut off of exponential distribution and Weibull distribution, I could find custom quantile to designate the probability. Have a couple questions. In the old jump version, saw it quantile feature allowing probability number to type, it is the same as custom quantile in JUMP 17. Seems like there is confidence level set as default value of 0.95, having trie...
May I ask a question: Regarding the "Model Sensitivity Profiler" in "Constant Stress ALT Design". The pre-estimated values have been set in the "Acceleration Model settings", and these set values cannot be modified. Besides, the values of "Approx. Fail Time for Setting 1" and "Approx. Fail Time for Setting 2" in the "Model Sensitivity Profiler" are also unchangeable. What is the significance of th...
Hello, I am running a PCA on an NMR dataset that contains some missing values. This isn't due to an error—it's simply the nature of the data, as some samples do not show certain peaks. I have noticed that when I include these parameters Y variables in the PCA and color the score plot by sample, some samples are missing entirely from the plot. It's not consistent—some samples with missing values...
