  • Two required y, responses for variability chart

    Hi,
I would like to create a variability chart, but only with one column assigned to y, response. Sometimes that does work, sometimes JMP requires two columns to be assigned to y, response.
Below two screen shots that illustrate the situation. Can anyone help why that happens and how to solve it?

  • Heatmap overlay from multiple variables

I collect a response from MxN sensor. The data comes as a table with multiple variables stored in individual columns ParamA, ParamB, ParamC. TLDR: I want to obtain two heatmaps on the right in the sketch below.   In the first application, I would like to plot a heatmap resulting from an overlay of two logical variables, i.e. ParamA=1 as Blue, ParamB=1 as Red, ParamA=1&ParamB=1 as Magenta.   In th...

  • Creating plots with error bars with "Fit Yby X", "Graph Builder" or other options

Hi,How do I create plots with error bars based on "Fit y by x", Graph builder, other? The question may  refer to two ways to achieve the plots:1. The error bars can be derived from explicitly from the data by creating columns of means, upper/lower errors, from which the plots are created, for e.g. time dependent data.2. From the raw data by grouping several variables (columns) from which the means ...

  • Data table referencing when combining windows

Hi, I am using the JMP ver 18.2 I have an issue when trying to combine windows into a dashboard.  For example, when I tried to combine the following 2 reports,   Instead of having the 2 reports showing up as a dashboard, what I get was a new data table and a dashboard with empty frames. I think this is caused by the table referencing issue. Is there a preference or method to combine windows with...

  • Effective concatenation without duplicates using scripting by matching data in two columns in different tables

Hi all,   Been a while since my last post, and in that time I think I have become a little bit more proficient at JMP-ing. Shamelessly, using the booming AI-LLMs to self-teach JSL has been working a treat. However, I am running into an issue that has been plaguing me for a very long time with JMP. As the title states, it stems from concatenation of large tables without duplicating values. I am on ...

  • I have edited the sentiment term list. How do I export it from the Manage Sentiment window?

I spent an afternoon editing the sentiment list for a specific application. I have a longish list of new sentiment concepts and scores. There is an Export button on the Manage Sentiment screen, but whichever of the destinations I chose, nothing is exported.  I have done this with no terms marked and with all my new terms marked.

  • Testing slices in JMP Pro Mixed Model?

Hello, I am doing a 4-way, full factorial ANOVA with one repeated measures factor (time, 3 samplings) and three between-subject factors (species, color, and irrigation; 2 levels of each) using the Mixed Model personality in JMP Pro 18.1.0. I'm using the AR(1) repeated covariance structure, as it provides the best fit based on AICc values. The analysis indicates I have no significant 4- or 3-way in...
