• Cumulative Summation by Group

  I am trying to do a Cumulative Summation by a group value in another column, and so far nothing I have tried (For, While, double Summation) has worked. I can do a cumulative sum for the entire table with:
  
  Summation( ::i = 1, Row(), :Total WIP[::i, Empty()] )
  
  However, I need to do a separate cumulative sum for each "segment" I have in another column (i.e. I need a cumulative sum where :seg==1, and ...

• Screening Replicated factorial DOE - Half normal plot - null space terms?

  I create a 2x2 full factorial DOE, with 1 replication. Sorting my data from right to left, my responses are 10, 11, 20, 19, 30, 28, 37, 40.
  
  I run the screening script and a half normal plot is created - so far so good. But there are 7 points in the half normal plot, but just 3 effects (2 x main effects and 1 x 2 factor interaction). One of the null terms 'Null7' is even highlighted as significant.

• Back save JMP 8 file for me?

  I tried the JMP 8 preview and forgot to save a few of the files I worked on in a format readable by JMP 5 before it expired. • Overlay normal quantile plots without long string labels

  Hello,
  
  I am a longtime user of JMP7. To make overlay normal quantile plots I use Fit Y by X, where Y is the continual variable like Height and X is a categorical variable like Gender. Using Right-click/Legend gives a nice color coded legend for the curves, but JMP also tries to label each curve way up at the top (upper quantile) end of the curve. Invariably these are ugly and overlap each other. ...
