Decision Tree - how to find out leaf/node/branch
Hello, I am building decision tree and wonder if it is possible to find out leaf/branch/node for each of my observations?Regards,

Hello!I'm trying to get an R2 value and a p value with an exponential regression Equation is simply y=e^xData are like thisxy0,511,070,510,880,511,200,952,531,012,65It seems like I just got linear regression (y=ax+b) if I go to "Fit Y by X". Maybe i should use modelization --> non-linear?But then I'm not sure I get the correct equation and it seems I can't get a p valueThanks to everyone who would...
I am struggling to find out a way to exclude certain rows using column condition. As an example, a summary table listed below, the first 5 columns are the group conditions that I use to get summary table. I have to manually select and exclude the highlighted blue font row, because this Box is still in the machine and have not get to a full count of 100 as Max(Slot) showed. Then this Box will cont...
Hello, I'm attempting to define and use a custom function within a JMP script . Will that run ok? As of now when it gets to the line to call the function (JSload) I get the following error in the log. Name Unresolved: JSload in access or evaluation of 'JSload' , JSload( temp ) /*###*/ I am passing the function a character string "temp" (a file name with proper path for an xlsx file) and atte...
Hi Peeps, I'm a student from Germany and writing my bachelor thesis and I really hope that you can help me with the interpretation of my regression analysis. I need to check the influence of a independent variable on three dependant variables in two different categories. That's why I added a dummy variable which is coded with 1's and 0's (1 for the first category and 0 for the second) as an indepe...

I am working on the Graph Builder and by mistake I changed the error bars, so that only the top and bottom are visible. The vertical connection line is still there, but very thin. I want to make it the same as the caps. Any ideas how?
Hi all, I'm using the Gaussian process model to fit a few hundred computer simulation data points. The computer simulations are a deterministic system, so the response never changes if the same inputs are used. I used the space filling Fast Flexible Filling design to generate the table. There are 7 different factors and 3 of those are entered categorically, the other 4 are continuous. The problem ...
Hello, I was looking for a simple easy way of normalizing the distribution/histogram wrt to the sample pts. We have response Y which is measured as a function sample pts (N). There also exists a group for each sample, available from 2 total groups. The total sample sizes of each group being quite different from each other distorts a historgram where the two group are a plotted together wrt to bins...
I am trying to create a waterfall chart using the Graph Builder platform. This is what I have so far. I now have two issues to resolve: How to change the color or any of the bars; I want the Potential and Actual bars to be blue, Loss bars to be red, and any credit bars to be green. Also, I want the labels showing in the white space to not be shown. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
On twitter earlier today, someone asked if the Cochran-Mantel-Haenszel (CMH) odds ratio (OR) test was available in JMP when the stratification variable is not the X in Fit Y by X. Anytime I need to go from two variables to more than two variables, the first place I look is Fit Model. The beauty of fit model is that not only can I use as many variables as I want, but I can consider interactions bet...
Hello, Does anyone know how to calculate the eta squared value from a manova analysis in JMP? I know that the E and H matrices tab shows the sum of squares for each parameter, but which values do I use to calculate SStotal and SSeffect? In my model, I have 2 control variables (age and gender) and then a two way factorial. If only one of these variables (in addition to both control variables) is si...
Dear JMP community,Is there an easy way to get the FWHM (full width half max) of a spectral curve using JMP? Finding the minima and maxima are fairly straightforward, but then calculating the FWHM seems to be much more laborious in JMP, especially if the data is sparse and we would like to interpolate to get more accurate intersections between the peak and the FWHM value. In my case, the peak is o...
Hi!I was wondering if anyone already tried to work with Co-Kriging, using JMP together with Matlab. As JMP only fits Ordinary Kriging Models (Gaussian Process with Gaussian Correlation Function), I would like to send data (generated with Space Filling JMP Platform) from JMP to Matlab, fit the models there (Matlab), and bring the MODELS back to JMP, to use inside Profile Platform. Do you have any e...
I'm trying to interpret the relative contributions of my variables in a discriminant function analysis of chemical data for three groups of rocks. In a stepwise, linear, common covariance discriminant function analysis I'm able to generate non-overlapping 95% confidence ellipses for my three groups with no incorrectly assigned data points using 6 variables. My understanding is that the scoring c...
