How to "save a report as" automatically in a script?
In my script, I create a control chart and a oneway analysis and I 'd like to save each one as .jpg (JPEG), automatically using the same script.

Hello again dear All, I am analyzing the results of an experimental design with two quantitative factors. It has three
levels for the first factor and six levels for the other one. The design region does not much a regular rectangle
and the levels of the factors are not equispaced. It is what we could obtain in a constrained design or in an optimal design. I copied the data in JMP and I want to an...
Hello dear All,I have a question on how to copy formulas from one data table of JMP 11 to another. In particular this need arises when I want to use a model developed from the data of a designed experiment to make predictions for new experimental points. In this situations I like to use a new table with the new values of the predictors and have JMP save the formula for predictions, prediction limi...
Using the Chart function I can easily plot Big Class data as a stacked bar chart:
Chart( X( :age, :sex ), Y( N ), Stack Bars( 1 ), Bar Chart( 1 ) )What script would build the equivalent chart using graph builder? I ask because the chart tool is limited to only 2 X Levels and I have another data set with 3 X levels that I need to plot in a similar fashion so I must use graph builder. Thanks!
I need some help utilizing the summarize function and I will use the big class as an example dataset. The below example works perfect but I need to summarize the data by sex. When I use the BY(:Sex) operator I keep getting an error. The purpose of me doing this is to output the results and use this in a calculated reference number per multiple variables for graphing purposes. .

Does anyone know of an existing script or code snippets to get me started on parsing JSON data? I'm particularly interested in how to handle the process of reading each key:value hash and writing it to the JMP data table. Here's a sample with a group ID number, followed by the timestamp:reading hashes.{ "1":[[1341118805, 0.654], [1341205195, 0.654]] , "10037506":[[1341118820.000, 0.900], [13411188...
Is there any chance I could get the script for altering the Dice Rolls simulation under the JMP Teaching Resources to have 2 or 3 dice rolls and plot the mean instead of just one roll?
Hi everyone,I've tried to search before I asked. I'm learning and very very new with the JMP software, we are using version 10. What I'm trying to do is make a script that will look in any given data table for specific column names and cast the columns into roles for a control graph IR. In the control graph I want it to find the column and use it for the "process" portion. Then use sample labels t...
i am using graph builder to display continuous data on x and y. if i drag to the top (X group) i get my data in bins (levels as jmp calls them) which is what i want and i can choose how many levels to display but i need to define each level (bin)
right now graph builder chooses the bin and i cannot find how to define manuallyjason
I've been using logistic regression with multiple categorical predictors. I'm particularly interested in the odds ratios, and I understand how the odds ratios themselves are calculated, but I'm having trouble understanding how the test statistics associated with each odds ratio are calculated. JMP gives the disclaimer "Tests and confidence intervals on odds ratios are likelihood ratio based." M...
In Europe, we found it common to use Cpkn as a non-normal Cpk metric, where mean was replaced with median, and stdev was replaced with IQR/1.35. For some "regulatory" or "customer" reports, this seems to be accepted rather than the usual "torture the data until it says its normal" approach with transformations. Does anyone have similar experience or better ideas? (Note: any use of capabilit...
Hello,I am trying to use jsl to remove the x-axis variable and replace it with a different one. It looks like I should use the GraphBuilderBox <- Remove Variable() tool, but since I change the x-axis variable multiple times, I do not know its name and would like to use the Remove Variable(Role("X"), Position(1)) method, but this does not work. Any assistance would be appreciated.Thank you,Martin
How would I calculate the shape of the average (using the median) of a variable from a group within a data set? I need a certain function for calculating the centre of gravity (centroid) or Euclidian centre of this group of variable.
Many thanks!!
Hi everybody,I would want to calculate LD50 and LT50 from a dataset organized in 6 columns:- Name of the compound (I just got 1 compound named A)- Concentration of the compound (2 dilutions per compound)- Individual number (a fixed number of 10 individuals is used per assay)- State of the individual at the end of the experiment (1 = alive, 0 = dead)- Day death (experiment last 15 days)- Experiment...
