Hello everybody,
I have got an odd request: We are currently working on a data analysis of medication dose and blood levels for 5 different medications. I am new to the research group and my supervisor instructed me on continuing the analysis of a colleague.I have just received the template for the analysis and I have a hard time figuring out what I am supposed to do.I know it is a big question, bu...
Hi all, I am wondering how I can reference a value in a specific column based on a reference column. The concept is just like VLOOKUP in Excel. I have a data table with a name and there is a unique threshold value for that specific name. Variability Chart(
Y( :Signal ),
X( :Expected Outcome, :Sample Mix, :Consumable ),
Max Iter( 100 ),
Conv Limit( 0.00000001 ),
Number Integration Abscissas(

Hi, I've testing both t-SNE and UMAP embedding features in Jmp Pro 17.1 release. t-SNE performs flawlessly, but UMAP just makes the program closes inmediatly as I run the analysis. Jmp closes suddenly without any error prompt or log, no matter the number of samples analyzed (50, 100, 300, etc) or settled parameters. I actually use the MNIST sample data provided in the former UMAP ADD-in dependent ...
Hello, I'm trying to create a simple division formula to subtract my target gene value from the reference gene. In excel I take values from the same column and divide every second number in the row with the previous value. Its very simple in excel but I can't figure out how to do it in JMP. Does anyone know how I may troubleshoot this?
I have tried splitting my column by target and well and write t...

As of now in standard box plot in Graph builder of JMP the length of whisker of whisker is 1.5 IQR, say I want to change the length. I am not getting any such options to change the length of whisker. Please let me know if anyone here knows about it. Thanks !
Hello, Does anyone know what this error means and how I can fix it? I'm trying to run ridge regression using JMP Genomics 10.2. I am trying to run 3 predictive models. When using Genomic BLUP it gives me an error that I have to use marker properties, when I use marker properties it gives me another error that the allele was not found. Any suggestions? Thanks,Ela
I'm looking at the impact of 4 two level independent categorical variables on a continous dependent variable. How to I choose what effect to use for a posthoc analysis? If I choose forexample size*treatment*shelfcode how do I consider the effect color to explain dependent variable Firmness?Do I do posthoc on all interactions? If yes, how do I interprete separate posthocs on the same variable firmn...
The largest purchaser of care of the WorldBest Healthcare System complained that the average C-section rate at WorldBest had increased from 1999 to 2000 and was now over 21 percent. The average at other area hospitals was between 17 to 19 percent. To investigate the situation, WorldBest wants to set up a control chart to monitor the number of C-Sections every month. 1. What type of control chart s...
I'm working with a large dataset with a single continuous number column and then multiple nominal columns. I need to understand the % delta (or % difference) in the number column as a result of toggles in the nominal columns. With the Fit Y by X platform, I can readily add a function to provide the raw difference (as with the t test function), but I can find nothing for the % delta I'm needing. And...
I am trying to hover over values to get the provided explanations, but it won't work because my mouse cursor keep changing into the regular white windows cursor. I only have the black cursor when hovering over certain things (like graphs) but I want it to be active for the entire window. Is there anyway to fix this? Edit: Nevermind, the white cursor works fine. I saw in another discussion that I j...
