  • Evaluating a variable column list as a string and inserting into a new column formula

    I've created a variable that is a string of column names.  This is inside a FOR loop so it will change with each loop.Here is a sample table for demonstration, in reality my table is about 400 columns with weird names.  I'm trying to group columns that should be grouped and report the max value. 99.9% of the time there will only be 1 value per row for each 'like' column that is to be grouped.Col1C...

    Hi, I am trying to do wafer map defect analysis very similar to that shown here:Image and wafer analysis using functional data analysis (jmp.com) I am able to use FDE in the same way to plot FPCs similar to their plot.What's the next step for modelling this and identifying which wafers are likely to have certain features?

    I was recently introduced to JMP as a student and have been using the trial version to see if this will be helpful for continued use. I've noticed that there are several missing features such as no access to K Nearest Neighbors under the Predictive Modeling menu or Association Rules, and no Validation field on the Partition window (screenshot below.)

  • Ordinal Regression Help

    Hi,  I was wondering if there was a way to specify the comparison between variables with ordinal regression. I have my ordinal variable (OHI) compared to 3 different bones (femur, ilium, and rib). Based on the output, JMP is comparing the rib to the femur, and the rib to the ilium. Is there a way that I can also compare the femur to the ilium?  Here is the output:

  • How do I save plots/images at a specific size when they are generated in a project?
