  • Opposite to augment DOE, hou could I quickly determine the DOE I need to remove to maximize the D-efficiency of resting DOE?

Hi Pals, I have collected 30 historical DOE which is not orthogonal at all. On JMP 17, the resulted D-efficiency is only 32 so I want to remove the most 1~3 nonorthogonal DOE before I augment any DOE. Is there any quick way to do that? Thanks! Currently, I can only manually recoginize the most nonorthogonal DOE from scatterplot matrix based on the design uniformity and re-calcuate the D-efficiency...

  • p-value or kappa for Interactions in Cox Proportional Hazard model?

I'm using Cox Proportional Hazards modeling to evaluate the effect of 5-6 baseline variables on overall survival (OS) in a breast cancer dataset. Beyond evaluating the main effects of these covariates, I'd like to assess interactions between baseline variables. I've been using the "Cross" button to add these interactions to my model (e.g. ECOG status * Age). However, I could use some help determin...

  • model screening

    Hello.
The question I have is that I have a dataset, and I want to separate 30% of this dataset for testing. I want to try different models using model screening, but for the validation part of my models, I want all my models to use exactly the same test dataset for validation.
What should I do for this purpose?

  • Open and add 4 JPEGs into a 2x2 window

Hi,How do I write a script to open 4 jpegs in JMP and then place them in a 2x2 window? I would like to specify the size of the window to be a certain size. Then I would like to save the window into a jpeg. Any help is appriciated! Thanks!

  • Difference between the parallelism F test and Chi-square test

Hello !I want to test the parallelism between two 4pl curves but I do not understand what the difference is between the F test and the Chi square test? The F test provides a p-value that is superior to 0.05 while the chi-square test does the opposite. I assume I cannot just pick one.   I was also wondering if it was possible to include the variability due to the random error when analysing 4 pl cu...

  • How to calculate the Discrimination Index of a PCA?

I need to calculate the Discrimination index of my PCA in JMP. The DI is the area between the replicates of each sample (three), divided by the total area between all the samples (six) on the PCA (see below). I know how to get a PCA on JMP but am not sure how to quantify the area between replicates and samples. Is there a way to get the DI through the menus, or would it have to be a script?
