  • How to save a linked subset

Hi, Is there any way I can save the linked subset? I have a main data table, from where I created a subset table. With that subset table, I created a plot. If I want to save the whole project and open it again, then the linked part doesn't work. If I select data in subset table, it doesn't select data in the main table. Does anybody know how to do that?

  • Refer to Columns in other Data Table using Formula in Column Names

I have a data table with column names having xy coordinates embedded in them. something like "delay [x,y]" I'd like to use a list of [x,y] (attached) to construct the column names so I can refer to a specific column in that table. When I tried to do subtractions referring to the column using dt:name() it errored out "Name arg must be quoted string". Any suggestions?     list=xy<< get column names(...

  • Multivariate Nominal Logistic Regression- Prediction Expression

I am using the Fit Model platform to fit three continuous variables to a binary outcome.  There is an option to "Save Probability Formula" which then outputs onto my original data data, and then populates probabilities and then classifications when I input new rows of data for my three variables.  However, I do not see an option to Show Prediction Expression.     e.g.  Variables:  Temperature, Len...

  • JMP 16 Get Script

I am used to getting a data table all setup for how I want columns and formulas in my data table, then running a get script to get all the columns and formulas I added. E.g.,  dt = current data table(); dt << Get Script;   After the script is run I copy from the log the new columns I added, pasting into a new script and when I pull new raw data, I can then just run the script to add the columns an...

  • Controlling the .jmp suffix at end of table names

Hi.  Does anyone know how to control if the ".jmp" extension appears at the end of your table name when opened?   I've noticed when I open some tables it's there, but on other tables, not.  I do not know why.  I'm writing a script that uses the table name and I need it to be consistent. Is there a preference I can use to control it, or some command?  I have considered just arbitrarily stripping th...

  • Rotate MAP North South

    Hello,

Does JMP have the capability to rotate a map North/South as oppose to simply using Lat Longs? If I have a SHP file within this map would that rotate as well?

    Thanks!

  • Changing axis scale with superscripts

I'm wondering how to change my axis scale with superscripts. I am using unicode font to write the superscripts but I am having trouble applying the superscripts to my axis. I want the minimun to be 10⁻¹⁰ and maximum to be 10⁻³. I have attached scrrenshots below of what I'm stuck on. I'm thinking I need to use a custom format but I can't figure it out. Y axis scale needs to be LOG.

  • Variability Chart Platform Factor Re-Insert Positions (Not Swapping)

Hello JMP Community, I understand dragging between any two factors swaps the location pairs in the Variability Chart platform. Is there a way to drag to specifically re-insert the factors instead? For example, can I drag "Layout" between "Horizontal" and "Wafer ID" in the attached screenshot instead of performing multiple drags to have the intended result? I am aware I can do this reordering with ...

  • how can I use structural equation model to make predictions?

Hi, I built a structural equation model and it works well. I would like use the model to make some predictions. Basically, what I want to do is to change the value of a variable and then JMP can calculate the values of other variables. Is there any way i can output the model equation so that I can use it to predict? Thanks.
