Weighted Kappas

Hi, we have a study where two raters are rating a 50 items for quality on a scale of 1-4. We wanted to do a weighted kappa in JMP; I entered the data, set the data type as ordinal, but JMP seems to only produce a simple Kappa when I Fit Y by X and look at the Agreement Statistic. Is JMP capable of calculating a weighted kappa? Thanks in advance!

Which algorithm to create a random order of runs?

Which algorithm is used in JMP to create a random order of runs on the basis of a Seed for randomisation? Can I change the used algorithm? I would like to reproduce exactly a given design to evaluate it by JMP. Thanks. Sincerely Thommy7571

'Display Options' is no longer one of the menu items when i click on the red triangle of a chart. How do i find the display options menu for a chart? Is there a way to update my chart preferences so that i can retain my settings? I searched the preferences but nothing is coming up.JMP Pro 14.3

Script window for adding three new columns, two columns with constant fixed values, and one column with numbers

Dear all I would like to create a script to add three new columns in my data table. Two columns will have fixed constant values and one will have numbers. Ideally script should open up a pop up window and ask for the constant values. Thankyou for helping me with this

replicate factor analysis in R

Hi experts,
I'm trying to replicate the results, obtained in a factor analyses using JMP Pro17, in R.I have an almost perfect matching between the unrotated factor loading obrained in JMP and R, but the rotated factor loading seem to diverge substantially, despite maintaing the same settings (factoring method, prior communality, number of factors, and rotation method - weight 1).

change tick labels

There are several ways to change tick labels in Graph Builder.

New in JMP17: via Configure Levels. Before JMP17, one could use Value Labels: ... and there is a nice shortcut to apply them very quickly:
- click on a tick label and hold the mouse button for some while.- the axis will change to edit mode- edit the label- press ESC
