  • Building a predicting model for a time forcast

Hello Everyone,   Would you please guide me through my analysis:   I have an outcome for the years 2000-2019 which is based on multiple predictors (a,b,c,d,e)   1- I want to create a model in which I predict the outcome in 2020 where I have all the data for 2000-20019 plus I have the values for (a,b,c,d,e) in the year 2020, and I need to predict the outcome in the mentioned year and then compare i...

  • Overlay target line on a histogram

How can I draw an histogram and overlay a line on it? (i.e. a line showing the target/minimum requirement for the histogram's columns) Please see the picture to understand what is the result I'd like to get.   The line doesn't necessarily have a constant value, but plots the values recorded in a different column of my table. Referring to the example in the picture: the target sales might differ da...

  • Correlation with Graph builder

Hi, I have a data table with results of a few parameters taken from 2 different tools (one parameters set for tool #1 and one other parameters set for tool #2). I want to present the data points in a graph and check the correlation. So I used the graph builder (under "Graph"), I drag one parameter to X axis and then another one to Y axis, but the problem is that there are many couple of parameters...

  • create multi-factor DOE for nonlinear response

Hello, I wonder if anyone has advice for how to create a multi-factor DOE for a nonlinear response. The chemist I'm working with says he wants to model an exponential growth curve with an upper asymptote, as pictured below.  It looks to me like a 3-paramter exponential could be appropriate.   How can I use JMP to create such a design?  Details below.  Thanks, Paul   He wants to compare two experim...

  • DoE with two-choice experiments, continuous response variable

We want to rank the preference  of population of animals for n different recipes. Recipes are tested in two-choice assays, where groups of over 100 individuals can choose one choice or the other. Preference for the group is computed as a preference index, a continuous variable that is between -1 and 1. Is there an experimental design that would help reduce the number of combinations to test in ord...

  • Changing axis scale with superscripts

I'm wondering how to change my axis scale with superscripts. I am using unicode font to write the superscripts but I am having trouble applying the superscripts to my axis. I want the minimun to be 10⁻¹⁰ and maximum to be 10⁻³. I have attached scrrenshots below of what I'm stuck on. I'm thinking I need to use a custom format but I can't figure it out. Y axis scale needs to be LOG.
