• Predicted Interval for correlated y vs x

  Hi,I have two variables that are correlated and like to get prediction interval for y vs x at 9.9%. I can do this for linear regression fit. My questions is whether there are other techniques than can accomplish this. I have attached y vs.x with regression line. In particular I like to know what range of x variable gives all the y variable between (a,b) at 99.9% confidence. ThanksAdam

In the predictive modeling part, validation is used to evaluate the performance for the model on new data, and prevent choosing the overfitting model. Validation requires extra data. • Making a heat map- how do I choose the numbers/interval on the legend?

  Hello,I am making a heat map, so the legend for my graph is a color gradient with numbers corresponding to each color. JMP seems to automatically choose which numbers go with each color based on the data set. For example, my current legend has the following numbers (-20, -14, -8, -2, 1, 2 ,4, 5), so obviously there is not a regular interval (the interval switches from 6 to 1 about halfway through)...

• How do I apply time fixed effects with multiple regression

  I have financial panel data and would like to hold dummy time variables fixed as I regress the other independent variables to test my model's significance. Not sure how to proceed. Is this function only available in SAS? Thanks
