Hi All,i have written a script where , i will be creating several columns in  JMP table (Say table-1) based on some  calculation. Now i want to populate few selected Row and columns of Table-1 to another JMP table (say table-2). Hi all, Actually i am trying to perform a calculation in jmp script, i have defined these calculation using a variable. ( ie- a,b etc), now i trying to populate this variable into a new table, such that each time if input changes , calculation will change and new data will be populated in new table. let us assume a= weibull function( consider every input i have for calculating a)   dt = New Table(...

  • How to force I-Optimal algorithm in Custom Design to choose integers only?

Hello, I am working on a custom I-optimal design with two factors (time and temperature). I would like to force the algorithm to choose an I-optimal design where all temperatures are based on integers (e.g., 0, 50, 75, 100) since I can only set my equipment to whole temperature values. I haven't been able to find an option that would force the algorithm to do this. When I simply round the temperat...

  • Ignore or disable modal JMP alerts

I'm creating a rather large Profiler plot with many fits and standard error formulas. JMP keeps telling me "Profiler will be faster by decreasing Default N Levels". I have aleady reduced the default n levels in JSL that creates the plots to a level that I don't want to go below. Is there a way to ignore this alert window? I accept profiler will be a bit sluggish and I'm ok with it. I don't want th...

  • Help understanding how Lift curves are calculated

Dear JMPers,   (computer details: I have JMP Pro 14 on a W7 Enterprise, 64-bit computer.)   I am trying to better understand how JMP actually calculates a Lift curve. I understand conceptually the ROC and Lift curves, but I'm having a hard time calculating a Lift curve myself. The JMP help/support page (https://www.jmp.com/support/help/14-2/lift-curve.shtml#1276958) isn't all that helpful in under...

Okay, so i have to decide whether i should use chi-square or Cochran's Q test for one of my study. If i assume meat as experimental unit (EU) and impose 6 different wood smoke (like apple smoke, cedar smoke, hickory smoke etc.) on EU and consumers (people) act as observational unit (OU). I have 10 consumers and each one will taste each treatment (6 treatments) and respond liking (9 point scale), an...

  • Selecting Number of Clusters in Hierarchical Clustering

One way to select possible number of clusters in hierarchical methods is to identify the relatively large changes in distance as number of clusters change (see table below). When I look at the actual distance measure from the table (clustering history below dendogram), there is a bigger jump from 3 clusters to 4 than from 4 to 5 (smaller), suggesting 4 may be the right decision. However, when you ...

I have a data set from a two-choice rodent feeding trial. We were testing the effectiveness of 10 deterrents by coating them on seeds and offering them to rodents alongside control seeds that were uncoated.
