  • Unable to fit a 4PL curve after applying weighting (1/y^2)

I am attempting to analyze a data set that utilizes raw signal points (y, response) and concentration (x, predictor formula) for an ELISA type assay using a logistic 4P model on the data. Once I apply a 1/y^2 weighting to the raw signal points column, the graph can no longer fit giving an R = ~0.45. This same plate has been analyzed with another software okay, so I am wondering what is happening h...

  • Percent of Factor for "X and below"

Hi, In JMP every row know to which bar it belongs in a bar graph. So, it's very easy to calculate % of Factor.

e.g. ratio of female and male students plotted versus age ("X"): Names Default to Here(1); dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class Families.jmp" ); Graph Builder( Variables( X( :age ), Overlay( :sex ) ), Elements( Bar( X, Bar Style( "Stacked" ), Summary Statistic( "% of Factor" ) ...

  • phase control chart control limits - no control limits

Hi, I need help scripting a case where no phase control limits should be applied to the first parameter/chart, while the remaining parameters/charts have fixed control limits defined in the same script. I am currently using the following structure:     Set Control Limits( { {LCL(.), Avg(.), UCL(.)}, {LCL(1060.2), Avg(1405.3), UCL(1745.1)}, {LCL(12.3), Avg(14.1), UCL(15.8)}, ...

  • Cannot select/use 4PL Rodbard curve fit

Hi there, I am trying to fit a dose-response curve to the Rodbard 4PL model. I have 3 columns, my Response, Regressor, and a weighting. The option for Rodbard is greyed out and I cannot select it. all other 4PL fits are available so I'm not sure why the one I need is not available?  Kindly, TK

  • graph builder, local data filter, and large data sets

Hello,  I have a dashboard of sorts using local data filter and graph builder to browse through a stacked dataset of measurement data (one VALUE column and a few measurement identifier columns. The functionality is great, but if my dataset is large, JMP freezes/crashes as it tries to jam all the data into the initial, unfiltered graph when the graph builder script is launched or the local data fil...

  • JSL Implementation for Deleting Columns with All Missing Values by Same Category

In the attached file, the field "Store" is divided into two stores, A and B. If all cells in the entire column corresponding to the same Store are missing values, then delete the entire column, as shown in the attached "Expected result". How can this be implemented using JSL?   I am able to count the missing values in each column, but I cannot find a way to verify if all the cells corresponding t...
