  • Repairable system failure prediction

Hello,Here is a general question for JMP experts:
say I have data on a system that fails with various failure modes. The data contains dates of repair on each components repair. I I know how to analyze this data for reliability as shown in video here:
https://community.jmp.com/t5/Mastering-JMP/Analyzing-Reliability-for-Repairable-Systems/ta-p/483465However what I am interested is in predicting the t...

  • How to Visualize Survey Data with Multiple Responses Separated by ';' in Graph Builder?

I’m trying to visualize survey data in Graph Builder where the categorical column contains multiple selected options separated by ';', but I can’t figure out how to make JMP treat these as multiple responses.

How can I properly visualize this kind of data?

    Example: Q1Q2Q3a;ba;cda;b;c;dba;da;da;bd

  • Partition On Proportion(percentage) Responses

Dear JMP Community,   I have tried to find similar post but so far none is addressing the question I have. I attached here also dummy data.   I am doing data mining to profile and quantify the factors vs responses effect. To put it simple, I have 2 factors (categorical with 2 levels) and 1 response (yield loss) which is a percentage. We record each day's yield loss vs what 2 factors level we are u...

  • Difference of R^2 Value in Multivariate & Line of Fit (Graph Builder)

I am using same dataset for two ways to get the r^2 value but they have different results. Whats the difference between the two? 1. Analyze > Multi Variate 2. Graph same parameters in X & Y and get the R^2 of line of fit

  • Data Filter: How to select multiple values + set fields

Hello   I'm generating a data filter on a table and I have two questions:   How can I use scripting to select several values (with contains?) for one of my data filter columns?   Is it possible to fix one of the fields? For example, having my Region field set to ‘S’ in the data filter, so that it's visible but not modifiable by the user, and the rest of the fields on the data filter (conditional o...

  • Choose between Plackett-Burman and Custom Design when having disallowed combinations

Hello, We want to run a screening DOE with 22 2-Levels factors, nearly all of them being categorical, and we wanted to use a Plackett-Burman with 24 runs in order to minimize the runs. But we have some combinations that are not possible to achieve, for example we will try a coating in either one or two layers and we want either to rinse or not between the two layers. But of course this rinsing mak...
