  • Relative Potancy 95% CI

Hi there, I am fitting a curve and applying a sigmoidal 4PL Rodbard model and testing parallelism. I have to determine the relative potency using the inflection points (IC50). So I calculate relative potency by dividing inflection point of the standard by the inflection point of the sample  (0.6479693 / 0.6477584 = 1.0003). How would I create a 95% confidence interval for the relative potency?    ...

  • Survey weight question

I am working with some Census data that comes from a survey.  There is a weight variable, given that they use a fairly complex sampling scheme to ensure adequate representation from different groups.  I am aware that JMP will compute weighted averages when analyzing distributions, if I put the weight variable in the Weight box of the dialog.  I am also aware that JMP ignores the weight variable wh...

  • How do I change the order of columns that are displayed in the hover label?

Hi all. It seems like this should be simple, but I can't figure out how to reorder columns in a hover label. In the attached image, for example, I'd like to reorder the columns to match the watershed hierarchy ...4, ...6, ...8, ...10, and then have the sqkm area value be last. This seems like it should be some kind of drag and drop operation, like the value ordering column property interface. I ca...

  • Quantile (Percentile) Calculation

I have a dataset of 10 numbers: 2,4,5,8,9,10,13,15,17, and 20. I pull those into JMP and split them up in a tabulate table into Quantiles. Output is at Quantiles 5, the value is 2, at quantiles 10 the value is 2.2 and so on. How are these calculated? Thank you!

  • Sidak correction for t test

Dear fellows of the community, I would like to ask you if anyone knows of a way to produce multiple t tests corrected by the Sidak correction? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%A0id%C3%A1k_correction_for_t-test In particular, I would like to use it in a context of multiple regression for comparison between categories. For example, using the big class data table and running the following model: hei...

My company recently began the migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online.  I have found that my JSL scripts are now no longer able to open or save files to the new SPO site.  Anyone have the correct updated syntax for this. • Problem specifying model for a partly nested ANOVA design

My study design is mixed-model with one fixed between-plot fixed factor (A), a random plot factor (B), nested in A (B[A]), and two crossed within-plot fixed factors (C and D).  I'm able to enter a full factorial model that includes the 3 fixed factors and all their interactions, using either the Least Squares or Mixed-Model Personality.  I'm also able to add the random factor (B[A]), but things go...

  • Default encoding on JMP - EUC-KR

Hi,I have JMP 14.2, 15.1, and also 16.0EA at the moment. All versions here don't include EUC-KR encoding system; so this can cause importing problems in many cases since a lot of Korean data or pages are made with EUC-KR. I have charsets that are all broken. So I had to import it with other programs and save as to fit into UTF-8 or match/join columns with other matching codes. It seems like JMP is a...
