  • summary function

    I noticed the summary function did not category the row correctly when the table is huge this week.I have one column (e.g. col A) containing very long characters. I try to see how many unique rows per the content of col A. JMP did generate a summary table without any error messages. To my surprise, the sub-table per the summary table still contains some unique rows. Anyone knows why?

  • Ratios in JMP

    Hello, I would like to question what is the best way to insert ratios in JMP. It seems to me that 52:48 and 53:47 and so on doesn't quite work for conclusive data analysis... The purpose is to use them for correlation coefficient calculations.   Thank you in advance!Helena

    From what I can tell the Indicator Function Parameterization output is for when you have categorical predictors in your model.  I actually never even knew about this output window until recently, and in my regression analyses have always simply used the p values and coefficients from the main parameter estimate window.
