  • Fit graph size to data (graph builder)

Hello,I'm sure there is a pretty easy solution but I just don't get it.When I change the scale of the axis, for example with the magnifier, how do I get back to the overview of the beginning that shows me all data points? Something like "scale to fit".I also encounter the problem when using the local data filter in a oneway analysis. When I change the filter, the graph won't scale to the new data....

  • How to give multiple inputs for column selection in jsl

Hi! I'm trying to use the contains function to select multiple columns. After going through the scripting guide, I found an example which gave me a direction, but I don't know how to give multiple inputs. Here's the section of code I'm using: dt = current data table(); colList = dt << Get Column Names(Numeric, "Continuous"); For( i = 1, i <= N Cols( dt ), i++, If( Contains( colList[i],"NPT_IRST...

  • Draw projection from one line chart to another

Hi, I am trying to draw a vertical and horizontal projection line from one point on line graph and find out intersecting points' coordinates (X and Y) for the second line in the same graph. for now I have been doing this manually by visualizing the graphs, but I am curious if there is way that Jmp can return X/Y value automatically. In this example - I manually drew red lines from the purple line ...

  • Normal Quantile Plot axes

When making a Normal Quantile Plot (Analyze -> Fit Y by X and turn on "Plot Quantile by Actual"), there are a few small numbers on the right-hand-side axis opposite from the quantile (cumulative probability) amounts that are on the left-hand axis.  I'd like to find out what the  right-hand axis represents.  It looks like 0 on the right side seems to line up with the .5 quantile (median).  The righ...

  • Analysis of Means - Transformed Ranks

Hello together,I found a function in JMP and was wondering when to apply the Transformed Ranks option within the Analysis of Means menu. I read the reference from Nelson et. al, provided by JMP, but I am still not quite sure if I apply it properly. Unfortunetaly, I do not really find any other references which are useful. If I compare groups (measurements instruments with same sample set) with non...

  • How to add a group of center points to a 2-level data set

Hi all. I have an existing data set that needs to be analyzed, but the existing set is comprised of a 2-level matrix and a set of three "centerpoints". I'd like to take advantage of the reproducibility information from the three centerpoints, but just throwing them in with the experimental matrix unbalances the analysis (there are a couple categorical factors in the original matrix). Is there a va...
