  • Selected points hide lines in graph builder

Hello, I'm adding lines via a Graphics Script in Graph Builder, but when many points are selected, the selected markers draw on top of the lines and hide them. Like in the middle of this graph:   I would like the lines to be in front of all the poits (including the selected ones, which is not the case here). In the customize option of the graph builder, I can change order between points and scrip...

  • Scripting Help Requested - Making a simulator for Type 1 errors in equivalence testing

Hi All,   I'm trying to write a script that will generate a random dataset (n=3 reference and test measurements) and then run a simulation with some number (1000 or whatever).  For each set I'll run an equivalence test and I'd like the output to be a report/table with the frequency of events where equivalence was demonstrated.  The goal of this tool will be to give a probability of type 1 errors g...

  • 3 Y-axes with 3 different elements

I'm trying to recreate this GC metric chart from Picard in JMP but am having trouble figuring out how to get 3 different Y-axes that all have different elements.  Here is the graph I am trying to make:  This is as far as I have gotten. I added the base quality to the y axis and then moved it to the right to get two Y-axes but can't figure out how to add in the red histogram as well.  I've attach...

  • Can JMP remember a PI Server URL?

I've been trying to integrate PI data into more of my data analyses but when I open new instances of JMP, it forgets the PI Server URL I was using and I have to dig it up and type in the whole thing again. Is there some way to tell JMP what I want a default URL to be so it is preloaded into the PI Server popup whenever I want to import data?

  • ComboBox dropdown resizing issue with lengthy values

I’m running into an issue with the ComboBox in JMP. The dropdown width is automatically adjusted based on the longest value in the list. Since I’m loading data from a database, most values are short, but a few are very lengthy. When those long values are included, the entire dropdown becomes excessively wide. I haven’t been able to find any documentation on how to control or fix the dropdown siz...

  • Outlier (👽) screening with Jmp Dashboards - how?

I want to do some Outlier screening by listing the aliens in my class. First attempt:  Local Data Filter
I was quite shocked with all the aliens in Big Class!
... but then I noticed that the data filter was just ignored (because on day 1 there were no aliens in the class - and with no matching rows, the Data Filter is just reset - instead of showing 0 matching rows !!!).
This seems to be related to D...
