  • Method to update a data table from a csv file

Using the Excel import tool you can set-up a JMP Data Table with embedded scripts that you can update from the source file as extra information is added (i.e. refresh the data while keeping the embedded table scripts).   Are there any inbuild ways akin to "Update Table(1)" to achieve this?

  • Highlighting better data in a graph

Hello  One feature I really appreciate in JMP is the ability to highlight data in the data table and instantly locate those points in a graph (e.g., in Graph Builder). It's a powerful way to explore and interact with the data. However, when working with large datasets, I often find it difficult to see the highlighted points in the graph. Even on a large screen, the selected data points are bare...

  • How do I get to prompt a user to define the LSL and USL for each subset table?

A customer asked how to create a JSL script to prompt other users to define the LSL and USL for each subset table.   I figured might as well post the script here to help others who might have the same request in the future. Anyone who has feedback, questions or enhancements, please feel free to add a comment.   // Subset data table // → Data Table( "Product=B" ) dtList = Open("$SAMPLE_DATA/Abra...

  • Testing slices in JMP Pro Mixed Model?

Hello, I am doing a 4-way, full factorial ANOVA with one repeated measures factor (time, 3 samplings) and three between-subject factors (species, color, and irrigation; 2 levels of each) using the Mixed Model personality in JMP Pro 18.1.0. I'm using the AR(1) repeated covariance structure, as it provides the best fit based on AICc values. The analysis indicates I have no significant 4- or 3-way in...

  • Discovery summit book signings - official list of books?

Fellow JMP enthusiasts! During the 2024 Manchester Discovery Summit I was surprised to learn that the handing out and signing of books is a tradition. So, I am wondering whether there is a list of the books handed out & signed so far. If it exists, where to find it?I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Bitch" by Lucy Cooke, and I have a feeling "Hello World" by Hannah Frey will be a good read too.
