  • I have a question about the Process Screening report

Hello,  I am interested in using the Process Screening function in JMP 18 (Analyze->Quality and Process->Process Screening). Here is part of a report that I generated. I expected that the column "Any Alarm" would be equal to the sum of all of the alarms for that row; however, it often is not. Can you please explain to me how the Any Alarm column is calculated?  Thanks

  • Conceptual question about validation

I'm hoping that people with a better statistical background than I have can shed some light on this question.  JMP has robust validation capabilities for all predictive modeling, including cross validation (though not in the Fit Model platform, except for the capability of using a validation set).  Data scientists routinely partition their data into training and validation (and sometimes test) dat...

  • R^2 value standard least square with random effects

Good afternoon,  I was wondering when fitting a mixed model using standard least squares and adding random effects as attributes, is the R-squared reported an R-squared accounting for fixed and random effects?  Thank you!

  • Dark Mode Windows

    Hello,

Does anyone know if JMP is compatible with a dark mode for Windows? I know that Mac Users can control if they have a dark theme in their preferences, but I have yet to find that feature for Windows.

    Thanks.

  • Discovery summit book signings - official list of books?

Fellow JMP enthusiasts! During the 2024 Manchester Discovery Summit I was surprised to learn that the handing out and signing of books is a tradition. So, I am wondering whether there is a list of the books handed out & signed so far. If it exists, where to find it?I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Bitch" by Lucy Cooke, and I have a feeling "Hello World" by Hannah Frey will be a good read too.
