  • recreate color map from hierarchical clustering in graph builder

Dear JMP communityThe two way cluster option in hierarchical cluster provides a really great color map that scales each column individually, such that if I have a column with high values it does not overshadow the rest of the columns. Whereas if i try to make the plot in graph builder e.g. as a heat map, the variables scale together and i lose a lot of data.since only the extreme cases show up. Th...

  • Mixture DOE - how to limit number of ingredients in final formula?

Dear All,I am using JMP for the first time and I'm trying to run a DOE with 6 mixture factors (A, B1, B2, B3, B4, B5) and 1 categorical factor. This is a chemical formulation and I only can use a maximum of 2 ingredients of type B, i.e., the final formula must have just 2 or a maximum of 3 ingredients (A + 1 type of B or A + 2 types of B).
Sum of all type B must make up between 1% and 40% of the fi...

  • How do I script a for loop to run oneway ANOVA over all Y columns in a data table

I have a large data table with 10,000 different column names and a small number of rows containing replicates from 5 different sample groups, including a control group labeled "HN30".  I have a script that will run a one way ANOVA and Dunnett post-hoc mean comparisons test (i.e. Means comparison) to the control group (HN30) if I specify each Y variable one at a time. However, I don't want to type ...

  • How do I make a DoE for a mix of factors I have a physical model for (custom nonlinear model) and factors I dont (traditional factorial model)

Hello - I know you can make non-linear custom DoEs. However, I can't seem to find a source, even a theoretical discussion in a journal article, that shows how to handle a sort of hybrid model, wherein there is a physical model that is known that relates a response with one of the factors being studied, but the model does not incorporate other factors that are under study and known to affect the sy...

  • Exploratory Data Analysis Course

Thanks for offering these courses free of charge. They are great! But I did want to let you know that there is something wrong with some of the questions. This is the second one that has told me I am incorrect even though I have the same answers as shown.
