  • Execute workflow/jmpflow by command prompt or powershell etc.

We have quite a few analyzes that get written in jmp and then given to us to automate them. Our current process is to rewrite them in python, MatLab, etc. We want speed up development and use jmp for our automation. How do you run jmpflow from the command line, powershell or python?

  • Lock the formula in a column

I am working on a standard data table with saved formulas in some columns. I know when you have a formula in a column, the data entry would be locked but is there any option to also lock the formula so the users cannot change the formula without for example having a password? Thanks for your answers in advance

removing the function() from the list fixes the error.

  • How to add label name to a legend in a Graph Builder plot through JSL?

I have a script creating a plot using Graph Builder which shows data from measurements. After producing the plot, I loop through the measurements month by month and use the command Add Variable to add monthly calculated curve fits to show the development over time of the recorded data. Now I'm trying to figure out how I can add a label to each plotted curve fit through script. The column labels for...

  • JSL: How to Save Simulation Formula of the best fitted distribution in a new table?

The procedure I hope to achieve is1) fit all distributions to a column2) use "Save Simulation Formula" of the best fitted distribution3) but instead of "Save Simulation Formula" to the original table, I want to save it to a new table with 10 rows. This means the saved formula will generate 10 values from that best fitted distribution in this new table. The challenge I have now is 1) when using Fit...

  • Extract the month, in text, from a JMP Date column

I can extract a month number from a date variable, but it is numeric only (1-12).  I know I can create a Match and force 1 = Jan, 5 = May, etc.  Is there a way I can use a simple formula to accomplish this?  Thank you. I'm a retired dinosaur user - JMP 8

  • Can anyone help correct a script?

Hi all! I wrote a script years ago, and it has some flaws that I'm not sure how to correct. It's pretty simple. I take a single column of data and split it into 3-5 columns of as close to equal as possible. It's a weight column- things amongst friends. We get a number of things of various weights and try to split it between us. The problem I'm having is that I didn't incorporate a way to acknowled...

I don't want to set JMP to "utf-8". Thanks!

  • Confidence interval for parameters and inverse predictions

Dear JMP community, I am fitting a probit regression between proportion of success and a continuous variable X. The screenshots below are the fit model outputs. I also got inverse predictions when the success are 0.05 ~ 0.95. I am wondering: 1) what are the confidence intervals for the parameter estimates, are they the Wald confidence interval? 2) what are the confidence intervals for the inverse ...

  • Two-way Shapley Decomposition

    Dear community,

I am aiming to compute a Two way Shapley decomposition for this mockedup data table. Herefore I first have to identify the growth and distribution components and to which percentage they account for the change in the EQ-5D-5L score. Further I aim to investigate the contribution of each individual predictor to the final EQ-5D-5L score.

Would really appreciate if someone could guide me...
