  • Reliability Forecast

I am trying to predict warranty returns but want to use the Bayesian estimation tools to update the warranty predictions. No matter what I do I can’t seem to get the warranty predictions to update after applying a Bayesian model. Is it possible to use the Bayesian tools with Reliability Forecast? If not, how would you recommend going about adjusting those return predictions for the updated posteri...

  • Multi-grouping GRR analysis JMP equations/statistics with bayesian estimate

Hi,I am trying to reproduce the GRR results in which there is more variance subgroups beyond just operator, and sample variance. e.g subgroup3,subgroup4. With the default 2group operator/sample variance using anova crossed GR&R, i was able to reproduce the results using the anova method following the explanation. https://sixsigmastudyguide.com/repeatability-and-reproducibility-rr/ I noticed a mess...

  • Pump variable modeling

Hello, I am trying to model variable speed pool pump parameters: runtimes, speeds, and flow rates in order to minimize my power bill, but also achieve decent flow. I've hit a stumbling block with modeling the data.Pump constraints: Max 24 hr run duration, Max of 3 speeds can be used per day, Speed increments are 2 hr blocks (0,2,4,6...24)  Example Pump Data:RPM Flow Power500 17 63

  • How to design a DoE to compare appliances with different batch size

Hello!I want to compare if two machines have the same pressure output. However, one machine, namely A, outputs batches of size 15 and machine B output batches of size 90.Ideally, my model would bey_ijk = mu + m_i + m_i/b_ij + e_ijkwhere y is the pressure at machine i, batch j and replicate k, m is the machine, b is the batch and e is the random error. How would I create this design in JMP, making s...

  • Can JMP Tabulate provide relative changes of parametrical data relative a reference point in time (such as pivot tables)?

I have a lot of data sets that i normally review with Excel Pivot Tables, but wonder if it would be possible to use tabulate tables in JMP to review similarily.  The data looks like the example in the attached Excel table. Four devices are tested 5 times, at 0h, 1h,  20h, 50h, 100h.In each measurement parameter1 and parameter2 are measured. I would like a table that has data in tree columnsfor eac...

  • Friedman post hoc analysis

Hello, I am trying to do a matched sample analysis across three different factors. I wanted to:1. Confirm that my sample would be what I pick for 'Block" when I do Fit Y by X when running Friedman's test2. Is there a post hoc analysis in JMP that I can use? I dont see Nemenyi or Conover as an optionThanks for your time.
