  • Reliability analysis: many points outside confidence band

Hi I have a dataset that has failures at cycles: 10, 11, 17, 28, 26, 10, 10, 1, 1, 1,1244, 1100. 187678 censored at cycle 30 (test stopped). 162834 censored at cycle 300 and 13313 censored at 3000.When I use JMP's life distribution to analyze this data, I get strange plot with most the censored points outside the confidence band.I have not used JMP for a while and use JMP 15. Is there anything wro...

  • Cox proportional hazards model for threshold

Hi, Can JMP run the following analysis? A Cox proportional hazards model for each threshold (continuous drug concentration data) was fitted to the data, and the threshold that provided the best fit to the data (i.e., lowest Akaike information criterion [AIC]) was selected as the threshold for dichotomization (time to event, PFS). Find the threshold (concentration) that provide the best dichotomiza...

  • Intraclass Correlation

HiI need to compute the intraclass correlation for 2 readers who measured the same subject once each. I have rows of subjects with a column for each reader. It does not seem possible to do this with the MSA tool, which gives me an error when I try to use it (not enough information to compute standard deviation). SPSS does this with essentially one click (Reliability tool). Am I missing something? ...

  • Find Reliability from bimodal data

Hello, I am currently analyzing a few data sets which seem to have a bimodal distribution. I am currently using the 'Life Distribution' under 'Reliability and Survival' but the distributions that best fit are Log Generalized Gamma, Generalized Gamma, Threshold Weibull, Frechet, etc. which don't really make much sense for the given data and where it comes from. Below is a snapshot of what I am tryi...

  • Ordinal logistic regression

Hi EveryoneI am very new to JMP. I have data on the scale of 0-4 on leaf damage scale on 15 eggplants taken every 48 hrs for 3 times on each plant. How can I represent dataset on the jmp .. or show data set for ordinal logistic regression?  Anyone can post data set table as an sample. Thank you

  • Regression Covariables

Quick question. I am using a Cox regression model and was wondering if I could include variables that are dependent upon each other in the same model. For example, would adding height, weight, and BMI as covariables affect the model, given that BMI is directly dependent upon height and weight? Another example, in transplant studies I want to know how gender affects survival. So I use both recipien...

  • Life Distribution - how to make the 2 plots in the same graph, one to show survival on, the other one not to show survival on?

I have an interval censored data table, when I do Life distribution --> compare groups, it gave me Plot1; what I really want is Plot2, in order to do that, I have to do life distribution without compare groups, generate plot3 with separate EVO/PVO plots, change the EVO to show survival curve, manually copy frame contents of PVO plot and paste frame contents into the EVO plot to get plot2. it is ve...
