  • Diagnostics with Studentized Residuals

Hi all, I am trying to identify the outliers of a REML mixed model that includes two nominal fixed factors and one random factor. As shown in the screenshots below, the parity plot, residual by row plot and residual by predicted plot all clearly flagged six observations as strong outliers (black points). However, these outliers are not captured in studentized residual plot where their residuals ar...

  • How to create Layers in Graph Builder

Hey, I have three sets of x and y (x1,x2,x3,y1,y2,y3) Data and would like to combine them into one Graph. When I tried using Graph Builder, I could generate a graph for x1, y1,y2,y3.  But then the Data is not displayed correctly, hence each pair of data must be combined with its x value.  In origin I can use Layers to combine these three sets of data, is there a way to do it in JMP as well?Thx

  • Should I be using the logistic regression or the categorical response module?

I'm in JMP Pro 15.2.1.I have 60 thousand observations, where the response is true/false and two categorical predictors: job, and group (assume they're not correlated). Many thousands of observations. I was about to do a logistic regression under the assumption that every observation was independent. But then I realized that each person had three consecutive response opportunities (one each quarter...

  • How to update efficiently a table that contains a prediction model based on DTM (Document Term Matrix)?

Hello! I work on textual data classification. So I made a model that predicts the class by taking as input the DTM. Now, I would like to update, in a regular and efficient way, the data table with new rows. My problem is to be able to easily compute the DTM using a formula so that the update is automatic. Here is a file based on the example of potato chip reviews:
    - first, we use the text explorer ...
