  • Quick formula column without shorting its name

By default, JMP shortens column names when a quick formula is applied to them. For example: A column name: abc defghijklmnopqrst uvwIs transformed to: Round[abc defgh...klmnopqrst uvw]How can I deactivate this behavior?

  • Extracting and editing JMP graphic output: Multiple Correspondence or Factor Plots

I have been working with that wonder of ungovernable data, the Twitter feed.  One of the unavoidable hypotheses about it is that users respond to other users, not necessarily to discrete content or events in the outside world.  Predicting the content of tweets about coronovirus in Hawaii from incidence levels was not impossible, but R-squares less than .02 are not very convincing.   Running an ill...

  • No output from JMP scripts

Hello, everybody. This is my first post. I have an issue with the scripts I try to run: When I run them, I receive no output. These are scripts that my team regularly use to pull data from our shared databases. I confirmed that the scripts are working for my teammates, so it's not a syntax issue within any of the scripts. I am a new hire and have never used JMP before, so I have a feeling that the...

  • Possible to automatically highlight a substring within a text edit box?

Hi.  I'm wondering if anyone knows of a method where my script can automatically highlight a substring within a text edit box?  I'd like the user to be able to1. Click on the text within the TEB at a specific location.2. A "<< Set Text Changed" function would return the location of the cursor in the text field using a yet-to-be-determined command.3. The script looks around the cursor location for ...

  • Unable To Install The Software On Windows 10

Friends, good afternoon. I hope you are doing well. I'm posting this today in response to a request. When I try to install " JMP" on my Windows 10 PC, I get an error notice that says "error opening file for writing." Even when I put in my best effort to install it, the problem persists. Is there anyone who can assist me in resolving this issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
