I'm looking for some guidance from the group. I am preparing an example to use in training with Custom Design. I want to demonstrate a screening design with 5 continuous factors. I have a run budget of 15 runs. Using custom design main effects model with 12 runs (assuming default signal to noise assumptions) I get a power of 0.821 My question is about the best way to use the extra 3 runs Do I run ...
Hello. I am using the Process Capability analysis to generate charts for my reports. One of the summary tables is for 'Nonconformance', which can also be used to represent failure rate I am interested in generating a table that shows yield numbers directly instead of having to interpret it from the Nonformance table. Is there a way to achieve that directly through the default options available wit...
Hi,
I've been asked to support a device delivery component design project. The goal is to demonstrate that multiple types and multiple lots of three components—syringes, tubing, and stopcocks—consistently yield endotoxin results within our specification. Since testing is expensive, we're trying to minimize the number of runs while still generating data that would be acceptable to the agency.
I initi...
Hi JMP Community,
Please see the attached image below for reference. I'm using JMp18.2.0. I attached the example file below as well.
I'm running Gauge R&R studies using JMP with the following setup:
Operator1 is mapped to DIB_id
Operator2 is mapped to Site
I have 8 parts used for each test
The Part ID column is used as the last nesting level (as shown in the "Variance Components for Gage R&R"...

When I use the control chart builder in JMP 19, the X axis is not adjusting to the correct order. I even tried Value order on and off and it does not make a difference Why isn't the x axis changing to the correct order? I am on a MacBook, but it also does it on Windows.
I am trying to determine an appropriate sampling plan for a manufacturing process which has a dimensional in process control (a length). There is a USL and LSL with a target. Cpk and Ppk are both coming in at >2 on a sample size of >2000 units across two mfg. lots.
We sampled at a rate of ~5%. I’m trying to figure out what the minimum sample rate is to ensure quality (95/95 confidence coverage). H...

I am using Fit Parametric Survival with a weibull fit to several different groups of data (group 0 to group 19) with only location effect. Parallelly I am verifying the alpha values of the weibull fit to the different groups from Fit Life by X plot. I understand that in the Fit Parametric Survival plot, it takes the last group as the anchor point and calculates the intercept (not sure what exactly...
Hello dear JMP community I will first explain the test method (no need to comment on whether it is right or wrong because this is what I got). The purpose is to detect a leakage.
