  • Suppress Eval all column formula

I was trying to use the script below to suppress eval or allow eval for all column formula in the table. For some reason, I kept getting an error (see snapshot) on the third time running the script but I can't particularly find the bug. Appreciate the community help in debugging this.  names default to here(1); dt = current data table(); try(formula_suppress = dt:Formula_Suppress, dt << set tab...

  • JMP 14.2 - JSL - Graph Builder Size Ignored Inside Boxes Sent to Journal

Full disclosure - I'm a bigger fan of the older graph plotting routines in JSL than Graph Builder but I'm making some honest attempts to switch. I'm running into a problem where I'm dynamically adding graphs to a Journal and I'm trying to very tightly control the graph sizes so axes and values line up horizontally. I'm building an H List Box in JSL with several items, sending that H List Box to th...

  • Is there a way in JMP16 to provide a user-defined reference distribution for a one-sample KS test?

Hello JMP users, I'm trying to analyze the distribution of fluorescent cellular features, such as nuclei, along a linear scan through a layered tissue.  In healthy tissue there is a highly reproducible pattern but in diseased areas the pattern is altered.  I'd like to test statistically whether the pattern in a selected region is different than that of healthy tissue. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test h...

  • Process Capability - Within Sigma Summary Report - How do I save column settings to prevent adding the same columns every time?

I cannot seem to find any way in preferences (MacOS) to permanently save the types of columns that appear within a "Within Sigma Summary Report" in Process Capability.  I've combed through most of preferences and cannot find it.

Any tips or tricks for this?  Ex. I want to display N, st dev, Observed Count OOS every time, and remove stability index

  • distribution of the data is not in JMP during CPK analysis

I am doing cpk analysis and did continuous fit-->fit all to find the true distribution for the data, then run cpk. JMP provided the best option, then I did Goodness of fit to confirm by P-value, however, P <0.001 which reject the distribution JMP suggested. I assume, this means JMP do not have the proper distribution stored. My question is if I can just use the distribution to run CPK, based on th...

  • JMP > GraphBuilder > Parallel Plots >River / Sankey Plots > Maximum Items?

Hi JMP Community,   I just came across an odd behavior in GraphBuilder with the Parallel Plot > Sankey Plot. If I limit the input to a maximum of 66 rows, the plot looks good. However, if I bump the number of rows to 67 or more, the output is no longer useful: no annotations: Is there a trick to maintain the axis annotations as shown in the first plot? Thanks. Best, TS

  • Permutation Tests and Monte Carlo Cross Validations Using the Simulation Platform

  • Variability Chart Platform Factor Re-Insert Positions (Not Swapping)

Hello JMP Community, I understand dragging between any two factors swaps the location pairs in the Variability Chart platform. Is there a way to drag to specifically re-insert the factors instead? For example, can I drag "Layout" between "Horizontal" and "Wafer ID" in the attached screenshot instead of performing multiple drags to have the intended result? I am aware I can do this reordering with ...

  • Get (x & y) intercept values from linear fit of the linear region of a curve/data and store them in a new column

I have JMP data table with data from several parts for which a Capacitance 'C' has been measured as a function of reverse voltage 'V' (0 to -5 V in -0.1V step). A plot of [1/C]^2 vs V has a linear part for small reverse bias (say from 0 V to -0.5V and data is available at 0, -0.1, -0.2, -03, -0.4 -0.5 V within this range). How to do a linear fit to the points between 0 to -5V for each part, extrac...

  • Debugger report for finding bottlenecks

I'm trying to find bottlenecks in a large script with many includes.  I can run the debugger to profile the script but I'm wondering if there's a better way than just looking through each included script for the highest number.  I'm imagining a pareto.     Anyone know a good method to analyze script performance?
