  • ROC for KNN (Predictive Modeling) in JMP PRo

    Dear folks!

I wonder, there is no option in KNN (K-Nearest Neighbors) for ROC. For instance, other predictive models have this option to display and it can be selected/deselected in "Preferences".

I would be very thankful for some code/add-in to generate ROC with identification of AUC for any model or for KNN, in particular. It could be useful for all users who deal with the JMP Pro platform for p...

  • WHY Support Vector Regression (SVR) considers EXCLUDED ROWS during analysis?

I am trying to predict continuous response on the basis of continuous inputs. However, during analysis, I've observed that SVR is considering excluded rows, which I want to use for model validation. Furthermore, the regression results couldn't be duplicated in Scikit-Learn library. Please help on this issue!

  • Multiple Logistic Regression Interpretation for Dependent Variables with Multiple Levels

I am trying to run a multivariate logistic regression. The dependent variable has two categories, and the first independent variable has five groups, and the second independent variable has two groups.  Once I run the model (use Fit Model), the parameter estimates section reports the coefficient/beta value for four of the five groups for the first independent variable and one of the two groups for...

  • MODEL COMPARISON TABLE IN JMP PRO - DIFFERENCE IN VALUES

I am carrying out three analysis on a set of data , namely multiple linear regression, bootstrap forests and neural networks and later apply the model comparison table to obtain a summary of the results at a glance. I find that the results obtained in the neural networks appear differently in the actual neural network output and the model comparison table. For example the R Square value obtained i...

The following code allows the selection of multiple leaf nodes from the partition tree via the Select Rows option. But, the partition window has to be closed after the user selects the leaf nodes for file creation of good and bad populations. Is there any alternative where the Partition window does not need to be closed? or any other function in place of the onClose() which I can use?   dt = Open(...

  • How to perform equivalence test for the slope of fit line?

Hello,I am performing validation the analytical procedure and checking the accuracy. Recommendation from USP<1225> is to built the regression line of observed concentration of tested substance vs expected concentration and have the confidence interval for the slope be contained in predefined interval around 1. This is sort of equivalence test (TOST). But I can only get estimate for the slope and s...

  • PREDICTIVE MODELS COMPARISONS - LINEAR REGRESSION AND NEURAL NETWORK

I am utilising JMP PRO 16 for validating the data results from a Finite Element Simulation. I want to utilise both Linear Regression models and Neural Network models and carry out a comparison. For the Linear Regression model , I have found that variable transformations are required to fulfill the assumptions of linearity , normality of residuals and constant variance. The transformations are the ...

  • What does it mean when the solution path for Elastic Net is not single-valued?

Dear JMP Community,   (W10, 64-bit, JMP Pro 15.2.1)   I am running a model to assess the active predictors. I am doing this by using the Autovalidation add-in to generate a Null Factor for my data. I then use the GenReg platform to find estimates for each possible X-factor and then Bootstrap those estimates to get a better assessment of the contributions to the response. I came across a very stran...
