  • SIMCA classification method: what alternative options do I have in JMP and what are the pros/cons?

Hello, I am after a combination of guidance and education. I have recently come across SIMCA as a classification approach. I believe this is not something JMP can address at the moment so my question is, which alternative options can I explore to achieve a similar goal and what would be the advantages/disadvantages when compared to the SIMCA method?  I am currently using JMP 17 Thank you very much...

  • How to transform and model non-normal dataset

Hello, I'm working with a dataset produced from a 5-variable full factorial screening with 3 center points. The raw data is heavily skewed with an exponential distribution. I've tried log, log10, square root and various box-cox transformations and can't seem to get anything even nearly approaching a normal distribution.  ConditionPatterndata11+−−+−0.592−+−−−1.63−−−+−1.784+−++−0.455+−−−−1.376−++−−0...

  • Fit a model between data set and the generated slope

I would like to fit a model between the accelerated data set ( data from different time points at certain temp) and the slope of these points
Because I want to generate 400 pseudo data sets and fit the slope for each data set. Could JMP help me to do this.
I tried to get the slope as a formula but unfortunately, the profiler does not recognize the formula columns and I could not fit the time, outcom...

  • How to stop "Processing Screening" from shuffling the row from original table

Hi, I have a question about using process screening. I am trying to look for CPK analysis of a data sheet. When I try to use "Process screening" the rows were shuffled.   Shown below is an example:We can see the order of Kelvin followed by Continuity  But once the table is generated the test data sequence were shuffled.    Need the community help to keep the test sequence as is compared to the rod...

  • How can I update a shift detected in a new tool to effect my predictive Model?

I have done a DOE and developed a LMS model and NN model for prediction purposes. On a new tool we ran some tests and noticed a slight shift, now I would like to build on previous interactions we already discovered but add the appropriate shifts to improve the predictions. Any suggestions?
