  • Functional Data Analyses returning DoE-factor (FDOE?)

Is it possible to do Functional Data Analyses like FPCA where the components reflect DoE-factors? (like in ASCA). It seems that FDOE profiler does something similar. Where can I fin it in JMP 18-pro?

  • help to get R squared predicted

Hello!I installed a script from a community response regarding the calculation of R²pred, as shown in the image below (I'm using JMP 18 pro): (link da resposta do @erich_gundlach https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Add-Ins/Predicted-R-square-calculator/ta-p/39927)  In PRESS, R²pred didn't appear. (Press is low because I haven't reduced the model yet, don't worry =))  I really need to show these R²pre...

  • Lin's Concordance Correlation Coefficient

Hi All Is there a procedure in JMP that computes  Lin's Concordance Correlation Coefficient?  The concordance correlation coefficient (Lin, 1989) evaluates the degree to which pairs of observations fall on the 45° line through the origin. Lin L.I-K (1989) A concordance correlation coefficient to evaluate reproducibility. • Svem analysis DOE with replicated runs

In last DOE discussion forum Svem analysis was discussed for a DOE with relicated runs. Is was suggested to avarage the result of replicated runs. What if is there is significant variation between the replicates? Would it not be better to run Svem with extra "replicate run variable" to estimate the within replicates variation? If within replicte variation is important Svem will pick this up; in a ...

  • Sample size calculation for accelerated life testing

I am trying to use the interval explorer for parametric reliability life test planning tool for sample size required for an ALT test but need some clarification on the following questions.         1. Is the Weibull alpha the characteristic life at stress or at use life? 2. Is the Quantile the pFail at stress or use life and how does the quantile impact the required sample size?3. Is the calculated...

  • What happens when a single factor far outweighs the others in a DoE?

Hi guys, I made a DoE that had a primary goal (stability) and a secondary goal (Productivity). I've previously characterized productivity before with an initial DoE. A great model was developed from that data. This new DoE, I added an additional factor that was not previously considered. I KNEW this factor would have a large impact on productivity as it is an obvious primary contributor, but was t...

  • How do I replace a prediction expression in a fit model with a specific expression?

Hi, I am completing a DOE and I have ran a fit model using the JMP software to define a design space based on desirability of certain variables, however one of the desirability variables is a simple ratio of two of the construct model effects, however when running the model, the model is defining its own prediction expression for this variable rather than using the formula in the data table. Does ...

  • How does AICc criterion and Combined rules interact in Stepwise Fit Platform?

As an entry-level user of JMP but with a bit of statistical knowledge. I encountered with a problem when trying to use the stepwise fit platform to develope a regression model for my DoE dataset.

I read the JMP help book and understand how combined rule applied to p-value based stepwise regression (a joint F-test and another partial F-test of interaction effect when added precedent main effects). ...
