  • How to add subtitles to control chart via scripting?

Does anyone know of a way to add subtitles to control charts via scripting? I would have a column of subtitle names, and would like to loop through that and add row 1 as the subtitle for column 2, row 2 the subtitle for column 3.. ect  Any tips/knowledge if this is possible would be great! Thanks!

  • Offset "Center" Point in 2 level Full Factorial Design

Hello, I have a question regarding center points for a 2-level full factorial design with 3 continuous factors. As we are fairly resource constrained, we would be including 8 runs without repeats and then adding a center point (duplicated) to test for curvature and estimate the variability associated with our experiment. The goal of our experiment is to evaluate the robustness of our process and ...

  • SQL - cannot insert multiple comands into prepared statement

    dear members of the forum,
when using jmp to query amazon redshift i need to send two statements together but for some reason this i get an error saying:

unfortunately, my query is very elaborate and doesn't work with just a "Where" statement for each separate table.
if anyone has any idea how to overcome this issue it would be helpful. Thanks

  • Trend-robust mixture experiments

With JMP, i have made a D-optimal Design for an experiment with 14 runs in the presence of such a time trend, for a special cubic scheffé model (third-order model) but without interaction between the time trend an the mixture ingredient factors. Based on the insights I acquired, I have to construct a second trend-robust D-optimal design and explain the principle I applied.I suggest that I have to ...

  • How to design a DoE to compare appliances with different batch size

Hello!I want to compare if two machines have the same pressure output. However, one machine, namely A, outputs batches of size 15 and machine B output batches of size 90.Ideally, my model would bey_ijk = mu + m_i + m_i/b_ij + e_ijkwhere y is the pressure at machine i, batch j and replicate k, m is the machine, b is the batch and e is the random error. How would I create this design in JMP, making s...

  • Seeking help on discrete choice modelling with jmp

Dear All, I am currently creating a model for my masters and i am new to jmp world. I have collected all the data from surveys but now confused if it makes sense to use choice design or maxdiff design for this kind of analysis. Hope the wide audience present here could help me.  Here is a brief of my data points: A procurement manager whose responsibility is to select containers for his shipments ...

  • How to read and update Effect content in the fit model with JSL?

    Hi folks,

I have several models in the JMP data table, I know how to read the scripts with JSL. Is there any easy way to extract the effect from this script, make changes and replace with a new effect? If Block is inside the model effect, I need to change it into a random effect to run model again with REML. Thank you so much for your help.

  • Response Screening Effect Size - logistic

Related to the previous post How to get "Effect size" column with Response Screening functionality , I am also wondering how effect size in the response screening platform is calculated, specifically for categorical Y vs continuous X.  JMP help shows:  "When Y is categorical and X is continuous, the effect size is the square root of the average ChiSquare value for the whole model test."  Running b...

  • DoE with two-choice experiments, continuous response variable

We want to rank the preference  of population of animals for n different recipes. Recipes are tested in two-choice assays, where groups of over 100 individuals can choose one choice or the other. Preference for the group is computed as a preference index, a continuous variable that is between -1 and 1. Is there an experimental design that would help reduce the number of combinations to test in ord...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
