  • MODDE to JMP

I have received the DoE model and the results of a study from a partner who uses MODDE ( MODDE® - Design of Experiments Software | Sartorius). Can someone help me how to import existing DoE model and data from MODDE to JMP?

  • DOE how to estimate the "sample size" of each run

Hello everybody, I have a DOE used to study a response, which is a number of "good" events.I build a DOE with 20 runs.I know that on average the proportion of good events is 10%.During the experiment, for each run, I will apply the corresponding treatment to a sample of plants and count the number of good events among this sample. Finally I will run the analysis using these counts.I would like to ...

  • Bootstrapping takes a long time

Hello, I am performing a bootstrap on some data created using the mixture distribution function as part of the life distribution to calculate reliability. I am using the bootstrap data to develop confidence intervals for the mixture distribution parameters. The 5 parameters estimated are sigma 1&2, mu 1&2, and portion which is what I am creating the bootstrap for. I am not designating a random see...

  • Col list box dependence

Hi all, I have tabulated tables where users are free to choose the headers they need. In line with that, I have three col list boxes where users will chose the headers for the table. What I need to do is to make the two col box list dependent on the first one because the data to be manipulated will be based on the first col list box. Im not sure how to use On Change() on col list box, but is there...

  • Can continuous numerical variables with poor adjustability in practice be set as discrete numerical variables

Can continuous numerical variables with poor adjustability in practice be set as discrete numerical variables? Because when using the optimal experimental design, the factors given in the design table are not integers, but some parameters can only be controlled as integer values in the experimental process

  • DoE with two-choice experiments, continuous response variable

We want to rank the preference  of population of animals for n different recipes. Recipes are tested in two-choice assays, where groups of over 100 individuals can choose one choice or the other. Preference for the group is computed as a preference index, a continuous variable that is between -1 and 1. Is there an experimental design that would help reduce the number of combinations to test in ord...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
